I moved to the US a few months ago, to marry my husband. I knew he liked to play poker, but I feel like its spiriling out of control. He is a very good poker player - he rarely looses, and frequently wins $500+, so his ego is becoming over-inflated.

The past week, he has been playing online everyday. On Thursday he was playing from 10-3am, the next day he played online a little bit, and then we went out for dinner...with poker friends. Saturday was poker all day online - I had a minor car accident, and he seemed more interested in playing poker. Then today, he's playing poker again, and will be playing a tournament tonight. Meals are even eaten infront of the PC!! He claims "theres nothing better to do right now" so he may as well play - how can I argue that??

Once a fortnight he goes out & plays till 9am! It just hurts me, because it was only on Wednesday we had a huge argument about how I thought his playing was becoming obsessive, so he said he would play less, pls help.

I have a 22 yr old daughter who graduated in May with a degree in English. Since then, she's worked for only 1 month in a customer service job, and was let go because she couldn’t meet the sales requirements.
The semester before her graduation, I offered her a job through our family’s business caring for my father-in-law. He has Alzheimer’s, and if he isn’t in the later stages now he will be soon. She declined, saying she felt she wasn’t able to capably perform the responsibilities. She also told us she was concerned the severe depression she’d been treated for four months earlier would come back. I became angry, since the other members of our family all work and he needs full-time care.
She failed to find employment, and moved home. For 2 weeks, I constantly hinted we needed her help. She finally agreed, and started helping for about 5 hours every day. Even after she started helping, I told her many times she could do more.

My ex split with me about 4 months ago, we were together for almost 4 years.

I found out that she's been seeing someone else for the last month but I'm still very much in love with her and I know she cares for me a lot still.

I've written her a long letter saying things that I should've said to her when we were going out with each other and telling her how much I loved her and how much she ment to me.
I've also written about mistakes I made when going out with her, lack of communication amoung other things.
I basically open my heart to her and say that regardless of the fact that she's seeing someone I still love her and that I want her to know how important she is to me.

I've put the letter in a Valentines day card that I will give to her on monday when I see her.

I admit that what I want more than anything is for her to go back out with me but regardless of that I feel I have to tell her how I still feel.

Is any of this wrong? Does this sound like the wrong approach

Okey this will sound SO stupid.. but i need a few answers. I have always known im quite a jealous girl.. but i never thought id be this jealous. Well the story goes.. iv always had to share my ex boyfrends with other girls... 'threats' my exes used to call them.. nice i know.. until me and my current boyfrend got together. we have been together over 8 months and everything is amazing.. the only thing that i see as a slight problem.. well not problem but something i cant help feeling is jealousy towards his younger sister - as he and her are very close... and when i am around he usually ignores me. and i feel like im second in his life if you get what i mean? i know i shouldnt feel like this but i cant help it. do i say something to him.. problem is i dont want to sound selfish but i cant help the feeling.. cos whenever im at his house.. i feel REALLY out of place.. like he wud rather me not be there... and its rele bugging me. please answer and share your views asap. thank you.. x x x

EVERYONE LOVES HIM....my parents, my friends, my relatives....He is wonderful, caring, trustworthy, hot, great job, gorgeous house, genuine, would be a great father.....I have always been in drama filled relationships and FINALLY decided to get out of it after 7 years and this has been my 1st non drama relationship

I took a 6 month break and then met him. We clicked. We both wanted to get married to each other someday, have kids together, and live in our "now" house FOREVER.

One day my feelings clicked off. Honestly, I woke up one morning after we were dating for 3 months and had come to the conlusion that I didnt love him anymore. Since then I went on some anti-anxiety meds and my feelings have been up and down. When we are out of town I dont think about anything and have a good time with him, BUT when we are at home I get all anxious and feel like I dont love him anymore...I dont know why but the smallest things he does annoy me and the next day everything could be fine. I just dont feel as romantic as I used to with him. I still enjoy having sex with him and spending time with him but feel as though something is missing or I dont love him anymore? Please help, I hate hearing that I am not in love with him anymore...For some reason people re-assuring my love for him makes me feel better?!?!?

My brother went through an issue where he wasnt able to contact his wife throughout yesterday but out of what he did he learned his lesson. But now when he got home he noticed she left to her house and whenever myself or he calls her she wont pick up at all! He doesnt want to ruin anything just let her know he didnt do anything. how do you get over somebody that you've liked since freshman year (im a junior now) and no don't think i'm a little kid with a crush lol i'm very mature & i know how i feel..when you have 3 classes w/them & see them in the hallways? i tryed talking to other guys but i just can't seem to like them..i always go back to him..he always comes back to me & when we talk on the phone and stuf he says he likes me & wants to be with me, but it's hard to trust him b/c the last 2 years i always seen him huggin other girls when he also was tellin me he liked me..when he tells me he wants to be with me i always mess it up because of something stupid (ex:he's black, i'm white) or i have the image in the back of my head that hes saying it to other girls too at the same time, but he sounds so serious & whenever we stop talking for a while he always starts texting me saying & misses me & calls me again saying he still likes me, blah blah..i really need help =\ sry for telling my whole life story lol TY

This person is without a doubt the love of my life and I know she feels the same, but she is the reason the words anal retentive were invented. I am not without fault, I am the poster boy for adhd! There is not a day that goes by that I don't foget my keys, or leave a light on. But every little indiscression results and her exploding and treating me like she just found out I were the uni-bomber. I now truly know the meaning of can't live with them cant live without them.
