If he is the love of your life why aren't you with him? maybe you should move on. it's not good to go back or to hold on to the past. there are so many lovely guys out there. just hang on and Mr.right will come along.

None of us out here can truthfully answer your question.
All we can do is to offer some advice.
My advice would be to move on & don't look back, look forward to the love of your life that you may or may not have met yet.
Put on your gladrags & get out there, go out & enjoy life & be positive in what you do, make it easier for that special someone to find you & also be attracted to you, join a club or do a course or another activity, & meet people outside of work.
Let it happen....
It will so be ready

Hey Beckyl, forget about this crap and move on...
You consider him as the 'love of your life', but does he consider you as the 'love of his life'? Naa, I don't think so... If he considered you as his dearest one, he wouldn't have left you, would he? So, why are you longing for him? Go, get on with your life, and don't give up in finding someone new!
If you love someone set him free, if he comes back he is yours. If he doesn't he never was!

However, alot of things happen because WE make them happen. Can't you track him down and tell him how you feel?
