My stepson keeps getting into trouble with the law. i have the council threating eviction of the house.because of him. He also has an ASBO against him but every time he goes to court they just keep adjurning his case. Im at my wits end nobody seems to have any ideas.or help. Is the only option is to throw him out, His mother is against this but we have a 6 year old to think about. This is causing a huge row in the household, i dont want to lose my wife and child. but if i keep the stepson will i lose the house and wife, any body help me please with some ideas.. thanks

In the weeks since my ex died, I have tried to be nice to his mother. A few days ago she called me trash and said I was in part to blame for what happened to her son. I couldn't imagine a more hurtful thing to say. He died after shooting himself accidentally with his hunting rifle. She said I stressed him out and he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. He was engaged to marry someone else but had told her he wasn't sure about going through with his plans because he still had feelings for me. We have a five year old son. I am grieving his loss the same as she is and also have to deal with my son crying every night over losing his dad. She's not speaking to me and doesn't have any contact with my son. I thought about calling her and trying to mend things for his sake but I feel it's best to leave her alone until she's more rational. Am I doing the right thing?

We hav been together for just over a year. He moved in with me and my mother 9 months ago. He has his kids every 3 or 4 weeks for the friday nite and most of saturday and goes and stays at his mothers house when he has his kids. He says hes commited to me but gets really defensive if i try to talk to him about how i feel. I hav met his brother once and his mother twice. He has been divorced for 10 years. Please help.

Is this possible? I mean I know when its going to happen. He also denys looking at other girls. I was with another girlfriend and we both agreed that he looks at them (because all men do) and he still denied it. So he farts (I hear it) and he will tell me he didn't know it even happened. I really can't get my head round it. Why should it matter to anyone what two consenting adult's do in their own time? I think it should be more appropriate to make gay sex illegal, seeing as that's a whole lot more unnatural than a male and a female trying something different.

I used to work with a guy who I became really good friends with. He was single, lived alone. I was married and going through a hard time with my husband. I confided in him with things that I probably shouldn't have, and maybe gave him the wrong impression. I discovered later that he wanted more than a friendship with me, so I slowly stopped talking to him. I cared about him as a friend, but because I was married, the relationship could never go any further than friends. Because I was well aware that he wanted more, I thought that breaking it off all together was the best thing to do.

It's been about 6 months since I last spoke to him. He used to work around the corner from me, and I would see him driving. Lately I haven't seen him, and he no longer lives at the same address. I still have his cell #, but I don't know if I should call him. I'm worried and I need to know if he is ok, but I am afraid of starting another "friendship" with him. Any suggestions?

My wife and I (she is his stepmom) have a 21 year old adult son we can't trust. He lies about the stupidest things...this morning is was whether or not he had made his bed..he hid that he has been sleeping on the mattress pad all week.

We pay for everything except his gas and insurance, he is a full-time college student with a (very) part time job. We have an agreement that he will xfer to a 4 year school next year that we will pay for, but he lies and lies and lies about stupid stuff. I am feeling resentful about spending many thousands of dollars to send him to school when we can't even trust him at home to tell us the truth about his situation. Oh, did I mention he also plays World of Warcraft for hours on end? This also gets under my skin.

I raised this kid on my own since I was 21 years old and this becoming intolerable. My softer side says, "Well, he could be doing worse things, count your blessings." If he lies about small stuff, what big things is he lying about?
