There is this guy that lives down the street, he has a thing for my wifes feet. He massages my wifes feet and paints her toe nails. He has even kissed her toes. They are strictly casual friends.

I'm a childfree woman who has several long-term friendships dating back from school days. A lot of my friends are parents. I'm finding it hard to stay friends with them due to different priorities, different life paths, different schedules. So for parents, how do you feel about your friends who don't have children after your child(ren) come along? Who have you kept up with and why? For childfree people, who have you kept up with and why, when your friends became parents? What are some dealbreakers and some deal-sealers in friendship, when two lives diverge?

Thanks for your insights. I'd appreciate answers that don't romanticize parenthood and are down to earth. Trust me, I'm not a parent and don't want to be. I just want to maintain my friendships now that we're on different life paths. Thanks for your help. Cheers, K

My parents went out of town so while they are gone I am taking care of my father's little lamb. I have him in the backyard fenced in so he can't go astray. I love going outside and hearing him go "baah" and I like to play some with him. He is so cute! Anyways, my grandpa is down for a week and he brought his german sheperd dog and I had to put him in the backyard too because I don't want a strange big dog around my baby. Well, I think his natural instincts are taking over because he is nipping at the lambs feet and trying to "herd" him. If he gets wounded my dad won't be happy because he won't be able to sacrifice him in the spring to God because he will have a blemish. (My dad does that once a year in the spring). Since he gets the lamb for sacrificing I know he won't have a use for him anymore and will hire a butcher to kill him :( I want the baby lamb around as long as possible. I can't bring baby lamb inside either because he will drop what i call poopy pellets. :(

I have had abusive upbringing, hit, hurt, forced into aborting my child, cause i needed them, nowhere to go, i never got over that. I have been called fit to burn, endured all sorts of abuse, helped them out, when they were down, now i have my own family. They have leaned on me so much, i had a right to tell them to **** off, they have messed me up so bad, but i was there. My mother!!! overstepped the mark completely in my home, 2 months ago, so i disowned her. In a weak moment tonight, i called my parents, to be told, no, sorry, not talking to you!!! I am so hurt, again, what is wrong with me???? Why do i keep going back to these awful abusive people? just to be hurt all over again. They act like the victim, all the time, when they have given me a hellish upbringing, and made me feel so inadequate. Am i sick? Why do i let them do this to me? I feel like such a weakling.

So my boyfriend and i have been dating for a few years on and off, and have been together officially for several months now. He is leaving and going in to the Army, and im trying to decide what to do for him before he leaves. I bought him a watch, its pretty nice but i thin k it might send the wrong signal. I dont think he would feel right accepting a somewhat expensive gift. (its a middle range chronograph seiko). i havent given it to him and have considered taking it back and buying a less expensive watch that has the army insignia on the face (in the background). Its not a good quality watch but maybe it would be a better gift. what do you guys think? any advice would be nice.

Here is some background. My brother and I haven't talked for almost two years. He is angry at me because of an argument I had with his wife. She cheated on him more than once and had told him that hte baby she was pregnant with (at the time) might not be his. He is totally controlled by her because he is so wanting to hold onto her. My brother is mad at me because of the things I said about his wife to her (though he was saying it was because of something else) He has nothing to do with me or my kids. Should I just let him go, put it in my mind that he is dead to me or should I try to patch things up with him? Would it do any good while this witch is still in his life?

Thanks.

I'm sorry if this is a bit long, I'll try to make it short as possible. About a week ago, there was a new guy "A" at my school. I was the first person he met, and he was pretty nice. The day before, another new guy "B" had arrived. New guy "A" introduced me to new guy "B", who was equally nice. Then New guy "A" started drifting away, ad one day, in sudden randomeness, asked me if I thought "B" was hot. I asked why, and he said lots of girls thought "B" was hot. I said no. After that, "B" started drifiting away. I started talking less to "A", but he started moving closer as friends! One day, "A" told "B" that I thought "B" was hot, right in front of him!! He lied! Now, whenever I talk to "B", "A" starts jumping in like a little kid that's interrupting! Like when "B" said he noticed I got a haircut, "A" says: "Oh! I noticed too! I did!" What is wrong with guys??? Can't we just be normal friends?? Again, I apologize for the length and the confusion. If you can make this out, plz reply!!!

At what age do you think it is okay to date someone much older than yourself?

What is the largest age difference you have ever experienced in a relationship?

Do you think it is okay for someone in their late teens (18 or 19, we are talking LEGAL age here) of either gender to have a dating relationship with someone in their early 30's?

Tell me what you think about this question a man asked last night. It was a bit disturbing to me. I don't know why. Maybe it's the part where he says that the situatoin ended unhappilly. Here it is.

At what age should I stop seeing my little girl naked?
Got your attention? Good. This is a serious question, so come on Moms help me out. About 5 years ago I had a girl and her daughter move into my apartment. The little girl is NOT my biological daughter, but she always called me "Daddy". Somewhere around age 5 she suddenly became very modest - is this normal? Is it different because I'm not her real Dad? The situation ended very un-happily - and the girl is no longer in my life. To those of you who pray, please do so for her - and those of you who don't, please keep her in your thoughts. And to those of you who have an unkind or in-sincere reply - you're forgiven...

I am so confused....Now this guy I've been involved with for 4 years gets kicked out of the homeless shelter TODAY~~~texts me[which I cannot block] begging to come stay with me.And I have the freakin BIG heart that God blessed me with & I kno he's already trying to screw with my mind by texting things like 'i kno you don't want me there because you said you're going to have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas. ' WTF does THAT mean? That he planned on screwing them up, like usual? I just feel HORRIBLE guilt but no way in hell is he worming his way bak in here.He was asking another woman a few days ago to move in with her~so obviously I'm LAST on his list to try to suck in.I'm tryin to remember the 4 years of hell he's put me thru and the lies and on dating sites asking women for sex and wantiing to marry them. HA! He's still saying he wants to marry me.Its so stupid, its funny. Just please help me with the guilt,I have no problem not taking him bak, I've become stronger, thanks to him.
