So my boyfriend and i have been dating for a few years on and off, and have been together officially for several months now. He is leaving and going in to the Army, and im trying to decide what to do for him before he leaves. I bought him a watch, its pretty nice but i thin k it might send the wrong signal. I dont think he would feel right accepting a somewhat expensive gift. (its a middle range chronograph seiko). i havent given it to him and have considered taking it back and buying a less expensive watch that has the army insignia on the face (in the background). Its not a good quality watch but maybe it would be a better gift. what do you guys think? any advice would be nice.

It's up to you. Give him the gift you want to give him ( from the heart).

The gift you selected is nice I am sure. He is going into the army and I am guessing you are young yet. Chances are your lives will depart as he is leaving and getting on the plane for boot camp. He can not have a watch in boot camp anyways so your gift to that point would be only appreciated for the moment. Save your money and kiss him good bye.

if you don't think the nicer one would send the right signal to him, than the other would probably be a good choice - though if you give him a lesser quality one now, you wouldn't want to give him a nice one later, probably - I'd say either give him the nice one, or find something else that shows your feelings for him. If there is a fairly nice quality army one, then that might be okay, though.

Sex would be nice, but you may have already done that a few time already. So if he realy loves you, it won't matter what you give him, as long as it's from you, he'll love it.
