My husband said that he wants to work on our marriage, come home and have our life back to normal. He says that he wishes he had never met his mistress and she is a mistake.

I told him that if he wants to work on us, he has to cut all ties with her. He said he knows this, but he doesn't know if he can do it. He also says in a perfect world, this wouldn't have happened and we would be back to where we were.

Why can't he give her up? There has to be more to it than just "having his cake and eating it too." Any ideas?

My son's 10 and his father took him every second week-end from the time he was 2 until last year. Now he turns off his phone and refuses to show up. He lies to our son about trying to call and stands him up regularly. I've always got along with him and have not argued about this with him however I have told him how much his son needs him and he says that he works hard and deserves to have his evening and weekends to himself. He says he knows its wrong but that it. I see how much this hurts my son and have no idea on how to help him.

Hello. I am french/spaniard and married an american who I love a lot. We're so good together - except when it comes to talking in bed. I don't know what to say. I think in other languages. He has said to me "Who's your daddy" a few times in bed... I don't understand what he means and I *think* he wants a response. I feel so silly. Could someone please help me with a good response to this?

so, i asked earlier about proposing to my lady & giving her two weeks to respond. now the most of the answers on her that i got say that i shouldnt have to wait even a full day, and that she should know right off the bat whether she wants to marry me or not. so the new question is. should i even wait until friday for the answer, or go to her, say what i am feeling and basically tell her that i want an answer asap...or just let it ride, hope and pray, and when friday comes...if she does - she does, and if she doesnt - well then i know. honestly, this is eating me up inside, and i think the majority of you guys are right. if she really does love me, then i should have had an answer by now. once again, im caught in a pickle and dont know what to do. HELP!!!!

He's just slapped me really hard around the face because I told him off for yelling at our teething baby- hes ok with our oldest son but doesn't give a **** about our baby. When we bought our house, I was pregnant with our eldest son and not working- he told me we had a meeting with the building society to arrange the mortgage... then on the day I was due to go in and sign, he told me he'd got the mortgage in his name only and that I didn't need to do anything as I was unemployed. We've been married for three years and things have been getting increasingly worse, he has always had a short fuse but used to take his tempers (usually when he was drunk) out on doors, walls etc... just before our youngest son was born, he started to take things out on me. It was small things to start with, he'd throw his phone at me for example, but they're getting worse as time goes on. I want to split up with him as I dont want to bring my kids up like this- anyone know what my rights are? Leanne XX

It's snowing outside and I'm bored. So how did you meet your husband/wife? Did you like him/her right of? Was he/she single at the time? The cutest or most unusual story will get best answer.

My girl does things to make me depressed all the time. I dont get any attention from her or and signs that she loves me like she says she does. I'm always doing things to show I care but I dont get anything in return. She stays mad for at least 3 days and wont talk to me when I do something she doesnt like. The last time was when I told her I thought she was cheating on me when I found her at the club grinding on a guy. She got so mad and wouldnt talk to me for a week. I dont know why I let her walk all over me. I would leave her if I wasnt such a wuss. When she is leaving for work in the morning and I try to hug her she will get mad and says she doesnt have time. She never wants to cuddle or make out anymore. I'm the first boyfriend she has had that isnt a mean gruff marine. I guess I need to treat her like sh*t like she does me. She used to be a sweetheart the first few months we were together. What would you do?

I have a situation where I had to leave my own house because the wife has allowed to the kids to do what they want, and it has caused problems in the relationship. One child is bi-polar. At the end he used to crank up his music, and when I asked the wife to ask him to keep it down, she would allow him to leave his music up. She never would confront him because she was afraid of him. And if I tried to ask him to turn it down, it just made me look like a bad guy in his and his mother’s eyes. I have been separated for 4 months and I don’t know what is going on in the household. Should I just ask for a divorce?

I would honestly like to know WHY does everyone just assume that there is cheating involved ???? When for instance the husband or wife say they are confused about their situation or not sure how they feel about each other. WHY are people just so quick to accuse everyone of cheating ?? What is wrong with our society these days ????? Some of us still have morals, DON"T WE ????????

it seems like people are getting married, and then divorced. One friend of mine got divorced after only a year, and another friend is filing for divorce after 11 years. What's going on? Is anybody happy?

i just dont beleive in marrying or the subject of marriage on a whim...im old fashioned and beleive that it is something it is sacred and serious, dont marry unless you know deep down in your bones that you will still love eachother until death....but how do you know this is the one that you would love in 60 years?

my nozy spouse has found a way to trick me by getting the answer to my challenge question. I unaware at the time accidently gave the answer and later had a hard time getting into my account. Not that there is really anything to hide but he now knows every damn thing from questions I've ask to answers I've recieved he said he was only playing knowing good enough well that his behind was, just being damn sneaky and nozy. He himself in return is very private and panics when he think I've came across any of his emails etc. I'm pissed off about this cause I can't even trust my own husband advice please?

fight, have the last word, interupt me, and basically start an argument over nothing, lately I have been ignoring him when he does this, going quiet, or leaving the room all together...however this makes him moody and he stays bitchy or moody and snarky all day, I really dont care to engage in his childlike bullshit...what should I do, other than leave. He is 32 and im 26.

I'm in a REALLY foul mood over something the husband has done (has to do with a business deal, not sex), and am just looking for comiseration.

I say their worst attribute is that they can't make a decision, and then stick with it.

Caught my stbx cheating on me with a gal he met in a chat room. She lives 500 miles from us. This has been going on for about 6-9 months. He has gone to visit her several times...telling me he is on business. I have a keylogger installed on computer and record all conversations they have each night after I go to bed. Do you homewreckers get tired of listening about how the divorce is going? Do you like the idea that he is finally getting a divorce and you might have a chance with him?? Do you feel any guilt that a family is breaking up because of you??
