I would be curious, to say the least. While it's not *typical* for someone to fall in love that young, but lust instead, it's possible - I fell for my husband 6 years ago, when I was 16, and we were parents before I turned 17, and I still love him. I'd hope for the best for them, wish them luck, and tell them if they ever needed anything, I'd be willing to help them out!

I would yawn. I'm from Kansas. They have the most archaic law that could be interpreted as you can marry a 12 y/o or younger. In fact I believe in recent months someone did just that there. However, a supreme court judge said he would do terrible things to the guy who did it. I think he should go after the judge if you ask me. Yet now we have a pregnant 12y/o. So 15-16 and married. Not even a raised eyebrow. However, it's still ridiculously STUPID!

wow, that's very young, where are there parents. I would be questioning there parents first, and then find out who married them, and see if it stands up in a court of law. Depending how well you know this couple, I would have a serious talk with them. It will probably be one of those marriage, that ends up with a child or two, then the father splits, because he can't handle the pressure, she's the one that's left with all the bills/ children, etc. Its tough to say how I would react, till I knew my interest in them, and circumstances. But if they are friends or close relatives, its time to have a good conversation!

I agree with many of the answers above! That is way too young an age to marry! She is still a child!

However, we all must live with our choices in life, good or bad! Our friends (like you, perhaps) can help to guide us but I wonder where her parents were (are). They should never have allowed this to happen!

Stand with your friend and help her to make better decissions in the future!

i wouldn't react immediatly. i would listen to the whole situation first. i know how it feels being on the other end. people had misconceptions about my husband and me ( i got engaged at 16)...and we are happily married ...and for all the baby answers out there, not everyone that is married young did so because of a baby, i still don't have one....

I guess it would depend on what culture they are in. If it was in America, I would wonder where the parents were. Being a teenager is about learning about the reality of life. It's about growing up and trying to do good for yourself. It's also about being too young to many adult things but too old to many child-like things. It's not about being too grown up and having a family. Once again, I would wonder where the parents were.

I would wonder what there parents were thinking letting them do that. 15 and even 16 is way to young to be married and know what you want in life. I know I was madly in love at 16 and thought he was the one it turns out he wasnt.

while i would think that perhaps they made a decision to early in life, i would accept it and hope for the best for them,,,,, keep in mind not even 100 years ago, people married and had successful marriages, at that age,,,, even in the 60' early 70's , many were married at 17 or 18,,,, not saying its the best,,, just that while its unusual in this day and age, it hasnt always been like that,

nicely i think of that age doesnt count as long as you're with the ideal individual on the ideal time, yet i do think of 15 and youthful are too youthful. yet i think of it does count on how mature the two everybody is and are they in a position for intercourse and do they be attentive to all the preventions and could they be extra secure. im merely long previous sixteen and im in a relationship for 2years and that i nonetheless havent had intercourse. we are conversing approximately it and we are the two virgins. i'm on the pill and whilst the time does come we will additionally use condoms.

I got married when I was 16, it has been rocky but I dont regret marrying him,if both people are mature and the age difference(mine was a 3 yr difference) isnt too big , then they should go for it
