Thirteen years ago is a long time...you're just curious. Let it go.
There was a reason you broke up...
Perhaps, no for sure, she's not the same as you remember. (Life, babies, weight gain, need I go on?)
Of course she'd be flattered but it would be quite embarrassing if she didn't remember you.
As for the wife...do you give her reasons to have issues? Check out other women? When was the last time you treated her like you did when you first saw her?
Must have kids, I would assume they mean more than a fling to you...remind your wife how important she is to you. She's shared life's up and downs with you for the past 10-13 years, doesn't she deserve a spare thought or two?
Stop thinking about an unsure thing. Start thinking about the sure thing!
Tell her there is no one else in your heart...and mean it!

Have you been thinking about her without your wife bringing her up? Are you and your wife having problems? Your wife is obviously insecure about your ex-girlfriend. You have to be honest with her and yourself about what's going on. It does seem that there are some issues going on that need to be figured out. Good luck to you...it definately isn't an easy situation. The more you try to push something like that out of your mind the harder it becomes...I know from experience.

If you want to contact her obviously there are some issues that you never resolved. I think it would be best to just let it go. You are married and have no business talking to this ex, it will only hurt your marriage.

I call it reminiscing. It's those old memories. The funny thing is, you seem to remember only the good and thats why you want to contact her. I would try to remember why you all broke up in the first place, maybe that will quell those old feelings. If you do contact her the sound of her voice may be enough to send you running.

you want a divorce? because that is what you are going to get if you contact that old girlfriend. that is a pandora's box and if you open it you will unleash a world of hurt that you will never be able to get back inot the box ever again. Play with fire, you will get burned. don't do it.

no u don't just want to see how she is doing, u got other things on your mind, and it can only mean someone may get hurt by this. maybe it will be you who gets hurt. why dredge up the past and try to recreate it, why not work on whats wrong with your marriage instead. your wife should be your only concern and not this other woman from your past. shame on you.
