I met a man through the internet, and we've been married 3 years now. He's a better father to my son than the natural father ever was. He's good husband/family man. We do need to be careful though meeting people this way, it's a very dangerous world out there.

I met my husband on the internet and yes we are still married. We have been married for 9 years now. Is this something you are considering? If you are, go for it, just be careful that you really try and get to know the person. My reasons for looking on the net is because basically I was a homebody with a child and really didn't have the chance to get out much. We talked on the phone for about 2 weeks and mutually decided to meet (in a public place of course) we got married a year later. Good Luck!!

I met my fiance in a chat room of all places. We just started chatting and never stopped. We have been talking for hours every day for almost 8 months now.
He lives in Europe, so to spend time together, we had to talk online. This really allowed us to get to know each other REALLY well. So by the time we met, all the hard stuff was done.. and the fun physical chemistry was the last unknown. Once that was confirmed, it was all good.
We are now engaged and looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
While it is really hard to have him so far away from me, I'm glad we went through that.... as we didn't have the physical getting in the way of getting to know each other on a deeper level.

I met my wife on the internet in 2001..and on December 26th...we will have been together..5 years..and we are still going strong. We are a lesbian couple..so we cannot technically..get married..but we did have a ceremony :)

yes. He saw my picture and profile in yahoo members and e mailed me. I was a widow for ten years, he a widower for one. We started e-mailing, then IMing, then met at a public place, dated for 14 months and got married. We have been married for a year and we are happy.

YES!! We were just married yesterday. I met him when I answered one of his questions here on answers. He emailed me for more information, then we IM each other for hours a day until we could meet face to face. It was love at first sight. We have been together ever since.

Not me - but a friend of mine did - yes, they are still married but not too happy. I guess there are no guarantees.
