all of my freinds say that whichever girl is gonna marry you she'll be the luckiest in the world, b'cos they say girls like shy boys and i'm very much of that sort, they say i can get VERY POSSESSIVE and that's what girls like best, they also say that i'm like those high class ppl in Boston, very sophisticated and very romantic. Are they just making fun of me or is it serious, or sarcastic comments ???

take care of him and our newborn baby. He recently had an incident that put him in ICU I nursed him back to health.
The funny thing is that when he was in the hospital I called his job to call him off. When the secretary found out she ran down to the ICU department to check on him like 15 minutes after I called.
I was taking with the doctor and when I came back in she was there. She told me to leave my husband and let her stay with him, while he was in ICU. She gave him a $100.00 gift card and does other special things for him. I also found her cell number in his phone. When and several missed calls from her. When I called her on the cell of course our number came up but she gave me an alias number. He described her as having big breast. He says that I am just too jelous. He does not sleep with me and we are not physical much because the baby is 2 months. I have not got my looks back yet although I am working out again. Should I worry? Is she just nice am I just paranoid?

So,my husband had been w/his employer for a year and a half...and never missed a day...well this last week they announced that they were going to not pay them time and a half for working overtime...something about because of the holiday.Everyone got upset about it..and 2 people laid out of work on Friday. My husband laid out Fri.too, because of this, mixed with his back issues.Hubby&other 2 people come into work today,to get "laid off" they told them that they were "downsizing and not enough work" the thing is,they are work 55hours a week, and some Saturdays! In otherwords,he was laid off for no reason!!They wrote it up as layoff&he is getting to draw$,but, they are all 3 thinking of sueing,as they were all laid off for NO REASON!!Does anyone have info on laws about this(I live in tennessee)also, need opinions, does anyone think they will win if they sue??Anyone been through this???Thanks guys!!

Sorry that was so long...

He can take any thing you talk about and turn it in to something that happened to him on the job. That in turn turns in to another story and on and on and on. I think there is something wrong with him but I'm afraid to ask because at the same time, he is very sensitive. I've approached him about it but to no avail. He claims to have had a 136 IQ in college but there is no way he is anywhere near that now.

It is easy to criticize something (to destroy it), but creating something usually requires more effort and time. If you accept that premise, then do you believe you know what you want in the ideal spouse (or if you had what you wanted, would you appreciate it for the duration)? Also, what are the essential qualities needed in your spouse?

didn't want to go to AA or Anger Management or live apart, but wanted a second chance. I have been separated from my husband for nearly a year. I have not seen him in that time, only talked to him on the phone. I keep praying that he'll change, but he doesn't believe that he has a problem. He tells me that actions speak louder than words and him telling me he's changed means nothing, that I have to see his actions. Well we have kids and I don't want them to see him like this. If he refuses help do you stay with him or go find prince charming?

Someone once said that love is an action not a feeling. That in order to have a feeling of "love" you must love (action) the person you are with. But is it possible to love (action) someone and not have the feeling of love yet have a happy marriage? Does the feeling of love need to be present in order to be motivated to continue in a marriage?
