It is easy to criticize something (to destroy it), but creating something usually requires more effort and time. If you accept that premise, then do you believe you know what you want in the ideal spouse (or if you had what you wanted, would you appreciate it for the duration)? Also, what are the essential qualities needed in your spouse?

I believe the best qualities in a spouse would be honesty, friendship, kindness and understanding. It does require alot of give and take from both sides. But that is what relationships are about.
A partner for life would be a wonderful thing to have and hold. I would cherish such a union if I could only find it.

I'm curious why your interested in what other people think and not focusing on what you find to be the most important. After all who knows you better then (YOU) do. while some people need physical beauty others requier mental stimulation.

If your open for a suggestion read (SMART LOVE) by Dr. Phil McGraw
it can really help you cut the crap and analize what you really need in a pertner for a healthy marriage.

His Needs, Her Heeds, By Willard Harley Jr. is a good second choice but no wher in the same catagory as Smart Love.

God Bless

Love honor and respect. Communication and treating me the way he wants to be treated. These are all things to look for in an ideal spouse and also one who is a hard worker and will support the family as in the husband.

At this point all I want is:

1: A man that will never ever cheat

2: Loves me to death

I promise to not care if he is broke or refuses to work. I wont care about his looks or if he wants children. I just want to be happy. Im tired of being hurt. Im tired of constantly checking phone records looking for hairs and smells. Im tired of worrying about when he will cheat again.
