It was 8years ago in high school when my best friend of second grade betrayed me. She was the only one that knew I was having a baby....before I know it everyone knew. I was not showing or did anyone from my family or the dads family say anything about me having a baby. I am not upset that people knew it is just that it is my place and time to tell who I needed to tell. She was the only one that knew. Now she is trying to contact me and act like if she did nothing. I understand time has gone by and we have grown up but it still hurts and I just cant see myself open up to her again. I keep telling her she betrayed me but she just acts like she doesnt know what I am talking about. I need some advise.

I've been finding it quite difficult to move on from a friendship that was broken. I've known this girl since Junior High and are friendship stopped when she had an affair with my boyfriend of 3 years (I am no longer with him). After a year of hating her and not speaking to her, she found me on myspace and ask for my forgiveness. I REALLY forgave her and felt like a monkey got of my back. But a couple of months after we re-kindled our friendship, she started acting weird again. She even had the odacity to give her oppinions on my current relationship which she claims is controlling, etc. Anyways, we said many awful things to each other and stopped talking. But I can't seem to move on. Part of me hates her and part of me wants to write a letter and make amends. What should I do?

Is it appropriate for a male and a female, who claim their friendship to be platonic, to end their email exchanges with "Love You", "Love you and thinking of you", "Miss you and Love you always", "I love you so much!". Note that they send email to each other about once a week. Would you suspect anything else if those two people are not separate by distance?

There is this guy who used to work for my husband and he is forever borrowing tools etc, his wife doesn't know he smokes so he comes round ours to have a sly ciggie. I think he's got a cheek, he's arrogant and is only nice when he wants to scrounge something. Last summer he turned up out of the blue with his kids asking if it was OK for them to use our pool - do you think he has got a cheek - we made excuses because we were going out, but we really don't want anything to do with him, he's married so he's not alone. He's the type to take offence if you say anything, so we just keep fobbing him off, he doesn't get the hint. Any ideas?

Do you find that the vast majority of people you speak to don't actually listen to what you're saying? They pick up bits of what you've said, but don't appear to have taken much of it in. I have noticed this recently because I'm lucky enough to have a boyfriend who does listen and talking to him makes an interesting comparison to talking to a lot of other people. Do you fine people out there think this is true? And if so, why is it so?

Disney is coming out with their "first" black princess. They've had other minority princesses before without near the headlines. Why can't we teach our children to identify with good people rather than a certain race. I never saw a black athlete and said "he's good but I like the white guy 'cause I can identify with him." I don't have a black kid on my team and refuse to work with him because I may identify with the white kids better. As adults we form their opinions. For most kids, including my own, color doesn't even enter their mind until it's introduced to them by guess who. We are all beautifully different but the story's still the same. We're born, we live, we die. What's that got to do with the color of our skin?

My best friend is an aquarius since three years. We are there for each other mostly during our lows in life.We respect and care for each other a lot.Though CEO of a comapany at very young age he mock fights wid me just like childhood friend.Lately we developed soft corner which i told him clearly. We have never touched each other and wen we are together i ve seen him to be the most decent and well behaved. But lately after my confession he is texting me "What about a hug?or what if i cross limits?". I ve told him "no" and still we are best pals but can you guys tell me what does he mean by intimate text at times?I always feel that men behave with us the way we are.Till now I ve always maintained my dignity by keeping "NO" but it hurts me to say him no.What do i do.

I am 13, and when I'm at a friend's house, it is usually to go swimming at least (because all of my friends have pools). Most of the time we do other stuff like watch TV, get on the Internet, talking, playing games, or get a snack, etc. (inside) after we're done swimming - so I am at their house for a long period of time...longer than to just go swimming. Is it wrong to not put my clothes back on after we're done swimming? This would mean I would just be in my bikini. Should I just put my shirt on? Should I just put my shorts/pants/skirt (whatever I wear that day) on? My friend's usually don't put clothes back on, but I don't know if it should be different when you are a guest in somebody's house. This is my bikini....

My dear friend who I love to death just lost his little sister in a car accident. They were very close and he is heartbroken. He called last night crying. I was shocked and very sad, I listened and tried to make him feel better. I didn't know what to say, which is a first for me. I stupidly thought that I should talk about something else to get his mind off of it so he could fall asleep. Now I realize that that switching the topic to my spring break was an insensitive thing to do, but my intentions were good. What comforting things can you possibly say to someone who is grieving?
