What if something got broken? Or stolen? Or the noise got so loud that the cops came? What if someone spilled something on the rug and it stained? What is someone threw up on the couch? Too many things can go wrong, and your parents are likely to figure it out. Just have a couple of friends over.

Hm...I did this when I was in high school, it got out of control. My group of girlfriends and I had a sleepover/party every Friday night taking turns at each other's house.
One friend's parents were going to be out of town, so we still had it.
OMG. People found out about it and that there were no parents there. No idea how the word spread; it just does!
We had so many people, tons of people we didn't even know, some girl brought some guys that were mid-20's.
Someone got in a fender bender out front and had to call the police. One girl got sick from drinking and someone put her in the shower...her boyfriend went in there to check on her...they didn't come out.
People got into my friend's dad expensive liquor and drank it all, having contests drinking the worms in the Tequila.
Someone was in the back yard swimming in the bayou (this is after dark) and no one swims in there! Ick. Something about a goose in the back yard. We never got back there cause we were trying to be everywhere else. Broke her brother's steroe speaker.
Someone burned cigarette holes in her mom's furniture!
Couple in the bedrooms with doors locked. Everyone slept anywhere they landed on the floor. There were bodies covering the floor, under the dining room table, everywhere.
We could not be everywhere and control anything.
The house was trashed after. I guess they thought it was a good party, but boy did we all get in trouble.
Her parents called my parents. They came over to our house and actually brought us in the living room and 'contronted' us like a big deal.
Whew...did we get punished. Worse, we felt really bad because we just wanted to have a little party, guys pass by and stop, hang out.
Just think about it before you do it. Maybe have something neutral, like we'd go to the lake or the park. Not must to do in this town. :) Set up a stereo, bring food, etc. That way you can still stay out as late as you want.
Good luck, have clean fun, but remember, people will take advantage of things sometimes.

Heyya. I have had many parties in the past at my parenst when they were gone out. Luckliy I had great friends and nothing ever went wrong but there's always that chance. I mean you seem nervous and honestly I didn't even question it when I had friends over. Maybe you should just have something mellow with close friends and next time gear up for a party. Your parents trust you so why screw up a good thing.

your parents left you and your brother alone for a reason. They trust you and have faith that you will not betray them. Are you ready to lead them to such disappointment. Why not try putting yourself in their shoes. If you had a home or apartment and had to leave for the weekend, would you like if someone you trusted through a house party and trashed everything. It is a violation to your parents domain. They worked hard to provide a home for you, your brother, and themselves. So if you're ready to screw that up then I hope to you're ready to face the consequences!

oh come on. dont let your vices get into your head. Because house parties lead to trouble and it would give you moral damages as well. Your will disgrace your parents trust as well, would you like that? your neighbors might call your parents and inform them too so youll end up in trouble.
If mayhem occurs at your house like breaking of furnitures, how will you explain it to your parents?
so be realistic. you have no authorization to host these things, you dont want to destroy your parents trust to you right??
and you DO NOT want accidents, the authorities might even catch you

you're screwed you cant have it now even tho shall we are saying you do get to stay domicile on my own I extremely have $5 asserting they'll have you ever domicile on lock down as in no person is attainable in or out and that they might have people observing you alll weekend do exactly this replan the social gathering fr yet lower back do a weekend with no social gathering builed up have faith then next time they leave toss one. yet on the different hand its a undesirable thought to have one because of the fact yout domicile gets destroyed and you would be caught with the mass and if the law enforcement officers get referred to as you would be in huge truble so i say you dont toss the social gathering.

ask permission and only invite a few and be careful who you invite. House parties generally end up in hospital drunk or overdoes on Drugs and many will force there way in just to trash your parents home, but if quiet and innocent yeah

It's up to you...no house party w/parents gone has gone smoothly. Every single one gets out of control...go ahead and do it you may find out that trying to control your parents home might end up in you getting controlled by others.

Have you tried asking your parents. If you're afraid to ask them then you can bet they'll have someone check on you. I wouldn't but if you do be prepared to accept whatever consequences you are dealt with adn keep alcohol out of it. That will definitely lead to issues.

you could
just hide all the things that might be broken in the party and clean afterwards. if your parents finds out and sees that you have taken care of the mess, they might give you permission for parties in your house in the future.
