I don't think I would. From the 5th book's chapter Snape's Worse Memory, they were real jerks. They were instigators of arguments and duels with Snape, who had done NOTHING to them. AND they played that horrible prank on him! Granted, James stopped it, but still, it was pretty awful of them. Besides, they were both really cocky, weren't they?
I think I would be friends with Lupin or Severus though...they're my favorites!

Sirius Black and James Potter, yes!
Because they were real trouble-makers...I'd love to be part of their pranks.
Maybe I'd like to be in the Weasley twins' year more than that. It'd be hilariously funny

no. james is conceited n arogant so is sirius. maybe on their own they're ok. not tog. luckily sirius matured.
