me and my friends don't really fall out or anything, we just seem to disagree on the most trivial things ever. we have talked about what the problems may be, it could be communication problems, we don't know. i just don't like arguing for no reason. i have thought that maybe it could be partly my fault since i have anger management problems, but it can't be just that. sometimes we get on like a house on fire but sometimes we just ignore each other for a while.
what do you think the problem might be?

Some time ago I was at a picnic watching friends kids play. A little 4 year old girl was throwing a ball to her brother. I said to my friends (and she couldnt hear this) "she throws like a little girl"
These friends were offended and I believe even 5 years later they hold some kind of weird grudge.

Was i insensitive?

ps..... i still laugh at this joke.. and its worth losing friends to be able to enjoy it to this day.

Okay, my friend is really annoying. I've been trying very hard to ignore her, but she just keeps coming back. Now, I've gone to sit for lunch at a table that is far away from her every other day. For the days I'm not at that table, I sit with her and my other friends at our old table. My friends have taken the hint that they too can get away from her, and gone to sit at other tables too. Now, I told her I think I'm gonna sit at that other table every other day. The problem is, that when I told her this, she said: "cool, i think I'll sit over there with you. The only bad part is that I don't want her over there because:

1) Nobody there likes her
2) She always, and I mean always asks peoples for food
3) She eats with her mouth open!! How gross is that?!?

I don't know how I can shake her loose of my life and tell her just to get her own life. I need some suggestions that don't include cussing, violence, or being extremely mean.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! =)

There's this lad I really like. He has liked me before but I didn't like him at the time. Then he went out with my best friend. (split up now) He's really nice to talk to but now that I like him he doesn't like me. My friend has asked him and he said I'm too much of a friend. I'm confused though because he looks at me quite often (in a funny way) so I don't know what to do. He's like my best friend but I have tried so hard to get over him but I can't. I need to know something I can physically do. Anything. Please :( Thanks!

My son has asked me to house a friend of his for a while..I live alone and have never met this man..He's no one and nowhere to turn and in need of help..My son only has a small flat and helped his friend out for a few days;he's asked me to take over for a while..Not happy about it but fighting with my concience about turning a fellow human being away..What would you do ???

ok this week at school it is min. day. So we get out early. and most people hang out with friends. So i asked my 2 friends (who are twins) if i can go to thier house. So the twins me and our other friend planned to go to the twins house. but i have started to get the vibe from the twins liked my other friend more than me but i've known them longer and she met them like at the begining of last year because of me. and well.. long story short i asked to go to their house they said their mom said no and then they were being secretive with my other friend and now she is at there house right now and i am here on the computer. they lied to me and then took my friend to thier house and they didnt care how i felt.. and they were just laughing and waiting in the grass for thier mom. and i dont know if i should stilll talk to them like i want to but then i dont...

My roomate moved in with me in July and we both have our names on the lease. By the end of August she moved out agreeing to pay me $250.00 a month. She decided she would pay me $130 I said it was unaccpetable but since she was still paying something I said fine. Now here is where it gets kind of sticky. We had a cell phone contract under name and we cancelled. She told me we have to pay it every month. So I paid the first month and she didn't give me any rent money. So the next month I didn't pay her because I told her that if I didn't receive money for rent I could not give her any money. THen I said use what you would send me for rent toward the bill and since you never send the rent money to me on time that goes toward the late fee. Now she is pissed because I haven't sent her any money but she has not paid me for rent. I would take her to court but we have been friends since the 8th grade and she is my son's godmother. What should I do?

Friend being a major .....?
I am so mad at my freind she told me that I was not invited to her party that I couldnt come. I mean I invited her to my party and I was going to have her come when my guys threw me a suprise party. I am so mad at her. She thinks its not something I should be mad about but in reality it pisses me the heck off. What should I do about my friend.

ok their is this boy i fancy he goes to my youth club, and we never tlk to each other but my mate said she spoke to him and that he said he was going to ask me out, now when i got there his mate said to me oh you know its never meant to be between you two and he said in front of the boy i fancy and then the boy started smiling and he turned a bit red, then his mate said why dont you just talk to him, his mate keeps on trying to get me to talk to him and he is bothering me about it and it is only that particular boy. also this boy i fancy is shy around i think and he knows i like him but he didnt tell me to my face his mate told me that we are never meant, to be do you think i should move on or do you think the boy i fancy, fancies me back. or what does his mate want and why does his mate keep on botherig me. by the way im to shy to speak to the boy i fancy so we just avoid each other. once my mate said oh she 4 got me and he was there and he was like oh my cherelle.

I have this friend who has once again gone totally off the rails. We've been friends for the last 20 years but she keeps dumping on me all the time. The latest one is definately the worst though. She recently split with her husband who was a heavy drinker and used to hit her. But since they split she's turned into a complete slapper. She's sleeping with anyone and everyone,(including my next door neighbours husband who's old enough to be her grandad!!!!!!!) she's drunk all the time and i've recently found out she's taking drugs. She has a very young daughter who she dumps on any1 she can so she can go out. She has also slept with another of my friends blokes which caused them to split up and I got in trouble for not telling her about it. Now my other friend won't talk to me.

She also constantly puts me down saying a life at home with two kids is no life at all and says i'm boring. She's causing so much trouble what should i do?

When someone you were involved with and no longer are that they make you feel you will never be good enough for them.

And in a way you yourself feel they are much better than you; emotionally and intelectually.

When you admire them but they do not admire you.

When no matter how hurful they can be the next day they smile and talk to you like nothing; they say they forgive and forget but you know thuthfully that is not so true in some ways; nobody is that way anyway; we all remember things.

They make you feel like that but still wish to talk to you; be "friends"; of course when they want to only.

she was there 4 months, she had a 55 gal. fish tank that I put in my house and set up while she was there and she told me then that I could go ahead and have it b/c she would get a new one with her taxes... she moved and its 8 months later and I have the fish tank still.. and she left a email saying she wanted me to bring her fish tank over to her new place what do I reply to that.. she gave me it and plus I have bought a new filter,heater, rocks and fish for it I don't want to lose money on it for sure

i had a crush on guy that was friends with my best friend. i told her to hook me up on him but she always comes back and tells me that h has a girl friend or he doesnt want to have anything to do with me. turns out all this wasn't true. recently i started talking to the guy and he told me my best friend said the opposite. she told him i didnt like him at all. (he was also intrested in me) turns out that she liked him even though she has a boyfriend. i dont know what to tell her now but im upset and i feel betrayed. any suggestions or advise????????

He has a very childish mentality of "you can't tell me what to do" when I'm trying to advise him and make him understand that it's unhealthy to keep a dog confined in a small cage for 8-12 hours at a time. He nevers takes it for walks, just outside to go to the bathroom, and the dog destroyed his toys and hasn't gotten new ones. He has not been to the vet yet. How do I advise him and help him to change his behavior without "parenting"?
