Whatever it is be totally original. Make them a gift....that is always the best gift because it comes from the heart. If they have everything already then that is what I'd do.

If they are in good health and love the outdoors, give them a certificate for something like (1) a whitewater rafting trip, (2) a horse riding trip, (3) a sunset ride on a boat (complete with dinner and drinks), and ask to take them to dinner (and have a limo pick you up, take you to dinner, and then take you home! This would definitely be remembered (and if you shop around, the first three should be relatively affordable -- the limo ride would only cost more if you sat and ate for a couple of hours! Good luck!

Is it someone you are interested in or dating? If so, why not bake them cookies, get them their favorite food, cd, t-shirt, etc.... Think really hard about what they like and you can probably come up with a gift that may be unconventional, but will show that you really put thought into the gift.

take them to see a new movie that just came out or take them someplace where money isn't an option like chillin at the park or goin swimming.
