In August my boyfriend is leaving for college about an hour and a half away from his family, friends and me. Hes very family oriented and it will be hard for him to be so far away. I decided it would make it a little easier if I sent him a care package full of things from his friends and family. His two roommates are good friends of his, and mine, so I want to send them all things. Except I'm not really sure what to send. I want it to be a surprise but I'm not sure what they would like. I havent been to college so I dont really know what college students need. Please help!

I have a best friend - but we don't even tell people that - we just say we're sisters. It's always been like that. She is the only "family" I have. I was living w/her parents & she moved away for college. However, I still lived w/her parents & worked full time. I noticed, slowly, that she wasn't talking to me as much. I thought it was because she was busy w/school, but then she stopped Totally! I moved out of her 'rents house because of a job. As I was moving, I lost my cell. I had a prepaid one & called my other phone to see if it was in the car. TOTALLY ON ACCIDENT, I called her-Our #'s are similar. For the first time in nearly two months, she answered. My guess is because she didn't recognize the #. I asked if we were "ok". She said, "... Yeah". I said, "You're not doing a good job of convincing me" & she said, "Well, I have something to discuss with you." She said she'd email me that week & I haven't heard from her. We talked for about 10 min, though like nothing was weird. ideas?

Okay so I was friends with this girl and she randomly got mad at me one day and never told me why. Now she's been talking behind my back and telling people lies about me and calling me a fat @$$. She even convinced one of my friends to go on "her side". But then today the girl she corrupted apologized to me and I forgave her and says that my xfriend was planning on apologizing too but she got sick and I didnt see her today. I dont know if I should forgive her for everything she's done. She made school miserable for me. Should I just put the past in the past?

I USED to have this website that I made. My previous friends saw it and they wanted to make one too, So I showed them how to. We all got along at first, then we also got into arguments. And how did this all happen. On their websites they all had CHATROOMS.

I never should have told them how to put a chat-room on there, but unfortunately I did, And I'm sure if your a parent you would never let your kid go in a chat-room. And so anyway, I've gotten into so many arguments with them, and I still do today.

You know how many friends I have lost because of this stupid chat rooms. I'm SICK OF THIS! My whole life at school is just turning into crap! I can't delete their webs because I don't know their passwords. And plus they could always just create another one.

What can I do to just stop all of this immaturity and foolish nonsense?

I met my friend 2 yrs ago and I really want to tell her the truth that I liked her. I feel that I should let her know about how I've been feeling about her. I just wanted to get it off my chest because she wants nothing but the truth. I want to be friends but let her know how I felt about her. I don't want to ruin our friendship over what I've been feeling. Please any reply.

Well, I have this sort of friends guy and well, last year he had tried to ask me out but I completely avoided him. I just don't like him that way and don't think that I ever will because he's so not my type. Well, a girl that I talk to sometimes (since she's in all of my classes) said that he wanted to go out. I immediately shook my head and said NO. I'm sort of weird or cold hearted because I detest guys who like me but I don't return the feelings. Well, he asked to talk and I refused because I can't stand looking at him much even talking to him. So what I'm asking is, should I stop being friends with him or try to reason. I know that you're going to say reason with him but I don't want to be friends with someone who has feelings for me...it's just disgusting. So what do YOU think I should do? it's just a matter of opinion, I'll probably ignore him. I know I'm cold hearted but that's jus the way I am.

I am going away to Spain with 6 friends in the summer, and we've booked a villa to stay in for the 3 weeks we are there.

We are all paying an equal amount to rent the house. Inevitably, some of the rooms are big, and others pretty small. One of the group has decided that because she has a small room in the house we live in together here at home, she should get the biggest room on holiday.

We told her that we think it's a lot fairer for us to decide who gets what room on an equal basis - drawing straws perhaps. We're all paying the same amount and are all in the same boat, so no one is deserving of a bigger room, regardless of their room at home.

The girl has been in a huge sulk ever since we told her we want to distribute the room fairly, and is hardly talking to anyone. We've tried talking to her and explaining our reasons in a calm and rational way. We don't want to lose her friendship.

However, she just refuses to acknowledge us. What should we do? Are we being unfair?

She has some serious issues..she thinks she can do no wrong and all her problems are always caused by other people. So I told her that. She was trying to blame me for the reason why we hadn't talked in 6 months and then couldn't give me a reason why it was my fault. Um..because there is no reason! So to my only e-mail she responded "stop e-mailing me" ..so I signed her work e-mail up for a monthly mental health newsletter. Did I go too far or is it really as funny as I think it is?

How do you handle something like this.

Here's the thing. throughout high school, my friend has always been the "nerdy" type (and shall I say the shy type). Junior year, he decided to change his style. But that same year, one of our friends (the girl he has a crush on) left school together with one of our other friends and my best friend to study abroad somewhere. As it turns out (or so my best friend tells me), our friend A (the girl) also has a crush on our friend B (the once-nerdy guy). When my best friend and our friend A returned here, friend B lost no time in telling her how he really felt about her. Friend A responds by reciprocating his love and saying she's "been waiting for that moment." And so begins the affair. But since friend A is Chinese, her family is the traditional type, and she's been betrothed to Chinese guy since age 4! What should they do? My friend 9friend B) is so hurt by the announcement of the engagement! What do I tell him?! "Drop it"? I can't say that, can I? Or "Damn, bro! That sucks."

I feel really, really terrible and I have asked for forgiveness, but I still am beating myself up about it. I went to my friend's house and snooped through all of his things. I was angry and jumped the gun and thought he was lying about something and so I went to snoop to look for an answer, to what I don't know. When he called, turns out he was really where he said he was going. Now I feel bad. I did it out of insecurity, totally dumb of me. So, now I feel bad because I snooped and based judgement on him AGAIN over some stupid things I did find, and I am hoping he didn't have a camera spying on me.... I feel terrible, because he wouldn't have done that to me, I don't think.
