My parents do not know that i have a boyfriend. I am 18 years of age. should i tell them or should i keep it my little secret until they allow me to have one? If you say i should tell them, please help me out as what to tell them?

I can tell you are trying to do the right thing by your parents which is a good thing. Why not drop a few hints like; You know all my friends my age have boyfriends. OR there is this guy at work , school that is really nice andwe talk alot.
Or could the problem be your parents would not think this guy is good enough for you.

Tell them! Homegirl u are 18 years old! That means legal, they cant do a damn thing about u having a boyfriend as long as ur not bringin any babies home. You better go and live ur life, besides wats done in dark will come to light.

omg u r 18 and your parents still won't let u date that messed up just tell them about and say i'm 18 years old u probably dated younger than me and i know kids who are dating in 3 and 4th grade!!!!!:) Even i am going out with someone and i'm 13!!!!!

You're a big girl now, you can make decisions for yourself without permission from your parents. Tell them you've met an amazing guy. Hopefully, they'll want to know more about him.

you should tell them mama. you should not hide a part of yourself from your parents. if you are worried that they might tell you not to speak with him anymore, then do not say anything. i have one and my parents do not know. they will not allow it for me
