Friends - March 2007

Ok, I have this friend and we have been friends forever it seems like. Lately though she has been hanging out with some people i believe/ know smoke. I am really worried about her and I don't want her to turn into a pothead if she hasn't already. I also want to help her but I want her to not get mad at me. I'm an 8th grader and I just need some advice to help her, is there anything i can do, im really worried

um me and my cousin wanted a job at lagoon so we rode the bus for 2 hours just to get there. and it was really depressing and scarry cuz we thougt someone might do somethin to us. so we got the job and now we have to ride teh bus everyday we work and were sure we wont even have teh same scedule so then were gona have to ride the bus alone. but i still want to work ther. so what should i think or do?

or am i just worried for no reason at all?

One of my friends is having a b-day party/regular party. My friend and everyone she is inviting drinks but I don't so I don't know if i should go or not. Also I'll only know my friend and one other person and I'm kinda shy I don't want to end up alone and the only sober one but I also don't want to miss out.

I have had many good friends throught out my short yrs. I am now 22, and I had a friend since 17, a best friend. And all of a sudden he suddenly stopped being my friend. As wih any other friend I've had...they've all just stopped completely. I havent done anything wrong...some were girls but most were men. All I ever really did was be an awesome best friend, and I just dont understand why ppl say they'll always be there for you, and one day...when U need them the most - suddenly they're just gone.
none have ever told me why...I am married...have no kids, and when I got married...everyone seemed very cool w/ it all..
This just doesnt make any sense to me. I am now afraid to try and be friends w/ anyone..cause I fear the same defeat as all the others.
So I am completely alone w/ no friends...is it really my fault?? And I dont seem needy or clingy..I just like to have a good time...talk or listen when needed...geez who doesnt?? Got any special wisdom for me :(

i went to my Brother tyler's house on St. Pattys day (tyler is actually my friend but he is like a brother to me) ok but we went to his house and he said that he waz going to get high tonite i thought he waz just like im gonna be crazy tonite and have funn but he waz serious and he took out drugs and now i dont know what to think of him what should i do???

Moved into a new neighborhood. Felt the neighbors next door were snobby (very sbutely) to me. Then some brand new neighbors moved in and made friends with the 'snobby' neighbors... Neither of them really liked me and were only nice to my face, if they even ackowleged me. Normal to feel hurt?

My friend really annoys me sometimes.. Other than that we get along great. He's self obsessed and doesnt think of anyone else. Hes conceited also. He is aware that I found out about it...he's planning a weekend with his fling the end of the month and his wife is totally clueless to it...I'm friends with her (perhaps not as close to her as I am to him) and now I feel awkward in her presence. How do I handle this? I love this guy like a brother and I'm not going to change his actions ... but ??? Do I remain friends with him? Should I tell the wife?

well my boyfriend just break up with me recently and we both understood that our relationship weren'y working. we know each other well, we were best friends for two years bfore we went out. it's just really weird when we were together, there was sparks but no fire. when we break up i wasn't devastated. i practically took it as a joke but now i feel sad. should i plan revenge or remain as friends with him??? any suggestions??

I recently met this guy in january, hes 16 and im 15.(he goes to my school and rides my bus, i kinda have a crush on him, or did, im not sure anymore) me and him were cool at 1st until he started being friends with this other kid that rode my bus. the guy he started being friends with used to be really racist towards me, and i guess it started rubbing off on him
so then both of them began being racist towards me, but then the other guy stopped and it ended up just being my "friend"
and i told him to stop and called him a racist ignorant bas.tard and etc
and then he got all offended saying he wasnt racist, he said something like "why are u callin me racist you know im just messin with you"
however im sick of it. and i dont know how to get him to stop
he apologized like 2 days ago but i told him i wasnt talking to him anymore, and then he just started back up again
any good advice?? it would be much appreciated.

I used to be popular, but I' m not now. There was this girl who I completly hated, and now she tries to be my friend. She is kind of gross. When she sneezes, she wipes in on her face! I´m at first year in college. I have always found it quite hard to make friends. Soon after I began at school I started to get to know some girls in my class who I thought, at first, were really great. They were six. I invated them to my birthday party and it was really fun. Anyway, after the exams in January I thought they began to ignore me so I started to get to know other people in my class who were a couple. I thought that they were much more shy then the girls so I found it hard to talk to them. I always asked the questions and they answered (If you know they usually sat next to my in class. I began to get to knew their friends as well and I liked them really much. We never met each other after school though. Some time later, I sat next to the girls and I think they were jealous or something 'cause they started to ignore me. The girls did that as well. I tried to sit next to the couple but they ignored me. I think I am being persecuted and I don´t want to go school anymore.

this is what happened me and my friend insulted our best friend by telling him a joke that came out wrong and we told him that he would never get a girlfriend because he basically sucks..but we were playing around, the thing is that we didn't mean to and we didn't even noticed that we did that

alone? I am 15 years old i have been feeling like this for the past year. I'll be standing in a room full of people and find myself thinking if i wasn't here, would anyone really miss me?
I have a couple of close friends, but over the past 6 months i feel like i hardly know them anymore. It feels like everyone else is so happy they don't really notice me. I feel like i have no one to talk to. And i am also reconsidering moving schools, because we are soon to be moving house quite far away from my school. I would like some advice and i really want to know if anyone else feels like this? I don't think i'm depressed i just hate my life.
