What are some ways you can respond to "what's up"?

I try to be funny and tell them what is up, like the price of gas, or inflation.

"what's up" is similar to "how are you" or "how are you doing". respond the same way as you respond to these 'greetings' (e.g. fine, good, very well, etc.)

Usually, when someone asks me "What's up?" I usually respond, "Nothing really. How are you?" Just act casual, don't be like "Oh, my god! I love you!" - (Don't come off too strong)
