One of my friends is having a b-day party/regular party. My friend and everyone she is inviting drinks but I don't so I don't know if i should go or not. Also I'll only know my friend and one other person and I'm kinda shy I don't want to end up alone and the only sober one but I also don't want to miss out.

You should definitely go because if you want to know more people there, have your friend introduce you and also try to go out of your comfort zone and introduce yourself. I am shy too but I don't let that stop me in having fun. As for the drinking issue, a good way to trick that your drinking is to fill up a martini glass with water and plop an olive in there. Also ask for a virgin version of your drink if its possible. That way you can look like your drinking but in reality your not.Have Fun!!!

Hey, don't miss out on a fun night, just because you don't drink! I have a very mixed group of friends, including some who drink, and some who do, but everyone always has a good time. If you're shy, just think of it like this, if everyone else is drinking, then no one will notice much, so have no fear!! Everyone will be loosened up, and it might give you confidence to show your wonderful self!

How about spending just a couple of hours at the party? This way you get to go but you won't be there anymore when the drinking gets wild.

Let's see what could you miss out on: drunk people, meeting new people, celebrating a special day with your friend. You don't have to stay if things make you uncomfortable. Go ahead, take a walk on the wild side.....oh, drink from a closed container.

try to find friends who don't drink.. then you can go and be with them and have a good time with out any worries..
