this is what happened me and my friend insulted our best friend by telling him a joke that came out wrong and we told him that he would never get a girlfriend because he basically sucks..but we were playing around, the thing is that we didn't mean to and we didn't even noticed that we did that

I think that if you are going to apoligize you should say it in person and all three of you should get together and talk about it be sincere and say something like "look i am sorry that i said what i did we were joking around and thought you would understand we kno that we shouldn't have said that but we are sorry do you accept our apology" or say something along that line if you are really sorry than he should understand i hope everything works out :)

Just talk to him and tell him your sorry that you didnt think before you said it. Even though you were joking it could hurt worse if you dont even say nothing at all. He'll probably laugh about it when you say sorry and it was only meant for a joke.

Talk to him and tell him u r sorry and u didn't mean to hurt him or make him feel bad. telling him u guys were joking and it came out wrong. if u guys dont talk to each other about this, he will never know that u really are sorry. so talk to him tell him u r really really sorry and u didn't mean to hurt him. after talking to him if he seems to take his time deciding if he wants to forgive, let him take his time. i'm sure he'll understand. good luck god bless =D

Tell him exactly what you just said in your question. You're sorry. It was a joke that came across wrong and you didn't mean for it to hurt his feelings.

I think you should just go up to them and tell them you do not want to lose your best friend and that you are truly sorry for hurting them.
Think about what you say before you say it in the future.
Hurt sucks...words can hurt more deeply than a beating...the bruises heal, the words don't go away.

Tell him you're sorry, and sort of turn it into a joke...say something like "Come on...youknow we were joking. How could you get a cool friend like me if you sucked that bad?"
BUT MAKE SURE HE KNOWS THAT YOU TRULY ARE SORRY AND NOT JUST MAKING LIGHT OF THE FACT THAT YOU HURT HIM!!!!

tell him you are really sorry for hurting his feelings & that you didnt mean it . You were joking around .
If he cant just accept a simple apology then he has got issues
