I'm confused. Is this bus haunted or something or are there 2 perverts sitting in the back having sex? I would buy a bus that isn't creeping u out

It's not unusual to be scared about new experiences like riding the bus by yourself. When I was young I had to ride the city bus for 2 hours to get home from school. The best advice I can give you is to sit behind the bus driver (or next to the door diagonal to the driver) and get to know him or her. They are very nice people and many enjoy the company and chatting with riders like you. You can start slow with just a "How is your day going?" type of question and eventually you will be having conversations that will help the time go by faster for you on your trip. Good luck with your new job!

Sit near the front of the bus and dont talk to freaks. Once you start riding the bus regularly you will see alot of the same people over and over. That should help ease your anxiety after a short while.
If you see someone (maybe somebodys grandma or something) strike up a conversation. Once you know a couple of normal regulars you wont even notice the others (and it makes the trip go much faster).

If you don't know what to think, I'm not sure you know how to go to work. Maybe you should stay home until you can think of a way to get the boss to allow the two of you to go together. You don't give enough information for anyone to say much more than this. No job is worth risking your life. I don't exactly know what you're scared about but then again. You should know the area better than I do. I haven't got a clue where you live, where you work and what it means to you to have "fears" about going there alone... Sit down and talk with a mature adult.

You should make friends with someone who rides the bus with you, or get one of your friends to get a job there and maybe try and get the same bus schedule. And if you don't want to or can't do that, and you feel scared you should quit your job because why risk your life for a job?

Pray about it and you may find someone else at work to ride the bus with. Can you ask the job to put you on the same schedule for this particular reason?

is there someone that can maybe drop you off and pick you up? i mean its okay to be scared of taking the bus alone to far away places, but it would depend on the neighborhood for me and if the neighborhood looked scary, then i would ask if i could relocate maybe somewhere closer..you have to look out for you. does anyone else that works there maybe have to do the same? can you ask your management if you and the other person can work the same shifts?

If you still want to work there then when you must carry a little bottle of mace and if you can get someone to come with you that would be better. The best solution though is to carry ad mace container with you and have 911 on your favorites list on you cell phone.

Have pepper spray handy, its kinda of girly but you might feel safe knowing you have it.
and wear headphones, you dont have to be listening to something just have them on so crack heads wont talk to you.
you can also sit close to the bus driver, cus all the wackos usually sit in the back.

If you feel afraid and have to ride a bus that long it isn't worth the job...
