My friend's birthday is coming up and she's going to be 17. She likes penguins, the color pink, and..wow that's about all I can think of. It doesn't have to necessarily be one of these interests but what gift do you think she would like or what suggestions would you have as to what I should get her?

i hate my sister-in-law. shes very "magulang" even her brother and sister doesn't like dealing with her and i always caught her telling unfriendly and negative things about me. i dont want to please her anyway. i just wanted her to be out of my system. how will i do that?

So I'm at law school today and I run into one of my female classmates who hasn't seen me since before winter break. We caught up on how our breaks had done and then she touched my hair (six months since my last haircut) and said "this is nice, look at you" or something like that. We are so not close.

Female Friend A informs me: "Bow chicka bow bow, that was a total come on."

Female Friend B informs me: "Hair envy is common in women, it doesn't mean anything."

I respect both their judgments but one of them has to be wrong. Is touching a guy's hair flirtation or just someone with no sense of boundaries or hair envy or what?

first, my friend tiffany liked this guy mike, and then she accused me of liking him, which i don't. then, my ohter friend alia (who is friends with tiffany too) was switching sides beween me and tiffany. so it became a war beween alia and i because she wasn't being a good friend. (i've had broblems with alia before this). it seems like i don't wanna be friends with them anymore, and so i let them both go, but now alia and tiffany keep on saying mean things to me and im just trying to heal from their previous abuse. now i really want alia to stop talking to me, calling me, e-mailing me and following me everywhere (like to the band room, and shes not even in band!) anyway, i don't know how to get out of this fight because i'm tired of getting hurt over and over again because of one person!

Well, im only 14 years old and I have this friend who is a boy. He came over last weekend and my 2 other friends were here that are girls. We were having fun and just hangin out like we did before. Now, this boy has a girlfriend, but he talked to her that day about coming to my house and she was fine with it. That night, me and him ended up sleeping in the same bed. I guess his girlfriend found out about that and she was really mad. She is still mad at me, but not him. I mean, it wasnt just me; He went to bed with me at the same time. Nothing happened, were just friends, but everyone says we would make a good couple, and he doesnt deny that. *Well, do you think that it is bad to sleep in the same bed with a boy if he has a girlfriend, even if your not going to do anything?* Ohh, and i like this boy. my friends all hate me because they say im mean rude and selfish when im not i try to be nice and stand up for myself but i end up yelling back at them and then they tell me im a ***** or a ho etc etc and they tell me i have angery probs

ok, there is this guy that I go to school with, (we'll call him "Z") and he was going with this one girl "C". Well C cheated on Z a few months ago and they broke up, but then got back together. they've been together for like 4 months now and they broke up today, and I feel like it was my fault.....
Z's a flurt, and I love him to death as a friend, and we were going to go out, but I didn't want to loose the frindship. well the other day we skiped school together (me, him, his bro, the bro's GF, and B and M) and we were hanging out. I have problems talking to people, or doing anything by myself. That's not a good thing. I won't go out and eat unless it's the drive thru or unless i'm with someone. I don't like going anywhere. Not to the grocery store or the park. Can someone help? Please!

I really like this guy at my school. He is thoughtful, intelligent, and carries interesting and clever conversations. Last year I couldn't keep myself from telling him that I really respected and admired him. So I emailed him and told him in a long letter that I liked him. (It wasn't gushy and all about how hot he was, I'm not that type)One of my friends knew I did this and she took it onto herself to call him up on three way and have us chat. I was hesitant but she eventually convinced me and in the middle of our awkward conversation, my friend asks him out for me. I'm in total shock and I hang up. Next thing I hear is that he wouldn't go out with me even if his parents allowed it.I finally found out that he liked another girl. Well, the whole thing became this huge, dramatic, soap opera but we got back to being friends. I still really like him now but after last year's incident, is it possible for him to like me more than a friend?

She is afraid to leave her house, if she accepts a lift she's OK. She doesn't like others to know, but I think she could get some help from her doctor. She won't go, though, even if we walk there together. I hate to hear her being criticised when others don't know how fearful she is, and how hard she is trying to get over herself.
Should I tell people she has this difficulty?

my cuz, susan, lost her father 2 years ago, and ever since, shes been treating me like ****!! last week, i told her that i wanted to go for best personality. and when i was absent the next day, she signed up for best personality, and didnt tell me! i found out. so, i decided to go for most talkative. then people start to ask me, i thought you were going for best personality? i told them what happen, and it got to susan. except, she also thought i told everyone not to vote for her. so, now, she's mad at me. and has been taking my friends (and crush) away from me. and, in health class, she put her backpack on MY chair, i asked whos it was, she said it was hers, but didnt move it. so i got it and put it behind her chair. she told everyone i threw it, and she started crying, like the little asshole liar she is!! so now, everyone thinks i was rude to her, and no one believes me. what should i do? i really dont EVER want to talk to her again, so, how do i get my friends and crush back?!HELP

I'm so confused!!!!?
I'm friends with this one dude, but when ever I talk to one of his friends (another dude) he gets a annoyed look on his face. Like I'm doing something wronge. Sometimes when he's talking to another guy he avoids me. But if I call him on it, he plays stupid (and he has admitted to playing stupid). Now I hardly talk to him because of it, could I of screwed up or something?
& We share most of the same friends. so its like I already know the guy he's talking to
