Apparently you are so immature that you are more interested in your own appearance than considering how people who look up to you/care about you feel. Do you think your friend "has" to have everything you have because she wants to annoy you! The answer is....NO! Your friend wants things that you have because she/he looks up to you and sees you as a role model.
Give her/him a break and grow up, you have the chance to build a strong bond between someone that looks up to you........ or you will be immature and break down that bond by destroying your friend's' feelings. You should feel honored!
