what is she doing to make her mad? kill her with kindness don't feed into it shell only get worse. or confront her and find out why shes doing what ever shes doing tell her she must not have a very interesting life if shes putting so much energy into pissing your friend off.

As I don't know what the mean person is doing I can only say that you should support your friend as much as you can. Just think karma - what goes around comes around and there are not many people who avoid it.

Maybe you're just a sissy.
No really, getting mad is showing her you CARE what she says. Just laugh, and say, "You're right, you're so right." and LAUGH loud and obnoxious and then abruptly stop , comment "Grow up" and walk away.
