I'm 4'11, and my 'friend' who i've known for 2 yrs. stares at me for 3 seconds and says..
"WHoa, Ur so short"....................

I would wear shoes with an extra 2 inches in the soles. That would make you 5'1", 1 inch "taller" than her. So then you should go up to her and say, "HEY RUNT! I CAME BACK AND NOW YOU'RE GOING TO PAY! COME HERE SHRIMP! I'M GOING TO RAPE YOU!"
This is truly how you win friends and influence people.

This happens to me too. My friend was two months older and half as stupid, and she refers to me as "the baby".
I think that when you are equally matched in beauty and smarts, the real "one up" is the taller one, or older one even if by an inch or a day.
I dont get it.

Tell her that's she's not exactly Cindy Crawford herself. Or...that's the pot calling the kettle black. If that doesn't work, tell her to shut her piehole. lol Honestly, it's not that much of a put down. You're short. There's worse things to be in life.

She is short also so call her "shorty." I am also short. I only stand 5' 1" so I know what that is like to be short and I don't let it bother me.

I know what you mean. I'm 4"10 and my friend is 4'11 and she says, "You're shorter than me." Just say, "I'm not short. i'm vertically challenged." Or,"I'm taller in more ways."
