Question

if ur friend is always nice 2 u but u might be getting something and she or he's said that they've had it before and always says that 2 whatever u say 4 example " hey i might be getting a cherry chocolate phone and she's said oh i had i had that but i gave it 2 so and so or i traded it in is she really telling the truth or lying? is she a good friend or not? plz write back i need 2 know

Don't worry about that drama. People do this often to make themselves look and feel better then everyone else.

sounds like a lack of confidance and maybe a little jealousy on the friends part.
If they are not lying to you about the important stuff or cutting you down behind you back then yeah they can still be a friend just maybe a little annoying

i have that problem with my so-called "best friend" all the time. i don't think she is a true friend because i know she is only doing it 2 either make me jealous because she has had it before or because she knows it bugs me. my guess is she is lying about it just 2 make you mad. but when you have a friend like that its not easy to stop being friends with them. i have tried over 10 times to get rid of my friend and it hasn't worked but i hope this will help.

I had a friend..well my friend's mother always did that...i would get something and her mother would be like " oh my daughter had that once..she gave it away" and stuff like that...or i would get something..and within that same week my friend would have the same thing..but bigger..or shinnier..whatever...
you know what causes people to do this ...Jealousy..they want to feel like they are more important ..they are insecure within themselfs..and want to be accepted...
People like this have some sort of issues with themselfs and they need to sort it out..the first thing you should do is pray for your friend.
She may not be doing it to hurt intentionally ...so dont leave her alone..just pray for her so she gets better.

I would be suspicious as to whether or not they are being honest...
But I wouldn't define them as a bad friend if they are lying
It may be because they feel deprived, or jealous of you, maybe even something deeper.
If they do it a lot, then there is a good chance they are just saying it
If you have a good friendship and it doesn't bother you, just let it slide
If it does bother you, maybe you should try and talk to her about it

omg! i totally had a friend like that before. i can remember seventh grade she was always at my house, but everything i had she could top. it was so annoying.and if i actually topped her she was like "well, why would i want that?" like another friend of mine had a razor, like she gor it as soon as it came out. so the girl that im no longer "friends" with.. well call her "Ch" got a razor then got a chocolate as soon as it came out. and people would talk about going on dates and such and she would be like, "oh so and so from work did this, and asked me to a movie, but so and so form my dads work asked me out too.. so i dont know what to do!" this girl never really was MY friend, and i knew she lied about a lot of stuff. she tried to tell lies about her and MY family and expected me to go along with it. i dont know about your friend, but she sounds a lot like Cherri. shes probably pretty toxic to you since (if shes like cherri) she always needs to put SOMEBODY down to make herself feel better.. my advice is to sorta drift from her, or she will always be pretty much a buzz kill for everything good that happens. from awesome boyfriends, to new cells and iPODS and such.

That friend is insecure and trying to impress you by trying to look better than you.

That so called friend is really being mean spirited.
I'd find another friend. She probably does make a lot of it up.
She sounds like a mental case.

well some ppl are just like that..my friend does that all the time, i sometimes thinks shes lying but who knows, i dont let it get to me...i personally think shes jealous, but thats just me lol

people do that all the time but it dosent mean there a bad friend they just sometimes like to pretend and make otheres think that there cool, but it dosent mean there a bad friend they just fabricate things more than otheres.

shes lying she doesnt sound like a real friend shes probably just trying to make you feel bad
