Friends - January 2007

A while ago my best mate's girl was really comming onto me. I knew that she had had previous feelings for me but I had found a girl I liked. but recently she had started coming onto me really strongly; I had offers of sex and whatever I wanted from her. I asked a friend for advice and he told me that he was getting the same thing from her and he said we should tell him so my friend had a word with him. Ever since my friend has been really off with both of us and has chosen sex over mates, even though she doesn't treat him properly and we were there to support him all along.

Was telling him the right thing? What should I do about his girl? How do i get my old friend back? Any answers will be appreciated, thanks

For the past several years I've been having a problem with this one guy. His parents are friends with are family, however though, he thinks he can take advantage of other people, dominate them, control them, etc.... Last year I was part of this theatrical show performance and he was in it too, during that time we got into an argument and I sent him an email explaining how I felt, then he sends me this nasty email saying that him and everybody else in the show think I act like a snob??? I don't know if he was making that up or speaking on everybodys behalf? I showed the email to my dad and he was very pissed off at what that he said and very disgusted as well! If you look at the definition of a snob it means; lowerclass, arrogant, annoying, etc... this F***** has no right to say that! this guy is nothing but a skinny a**, four eyed F** !!! even though we shook hands, he still thinks Im the one who should be blamed for everything! this guy still pisses me off! so what should I do???

One of my "friends" tried to beat up one of her own best friends (I am friends with her also) She tried to beat her up just over a boy, and to tell the truth I think she has gone out of control, and just doesn't care anymore. We started growing apart a year ago, and now I just don't want anything to do with her. Should I still talk to her?

I am a school teacher who is 33 and single and I have this friend Laura who who is the art teacher and she is 22 and going through her masters program right now and she asked me to pose nude for a sn assignment for one of her classes. I am afraid it may have affected our friendship now. She is a beautiful brunette but I think I saw an evil side of her when she was drawing me naked. I went to her house and got naked in her room that was a studio and when she walked in she started laughing hysterically and put her thumb and index finger about an inch apart. (what does that mean ladies?) and then throughout she kept giggling as I sat on the stool nude. I eventually got an an erection and then she laughed more asking me if it was 3 inches? (its bigger 3.5) She said I looked like a Macaca (monkey) with a little brown french fry. I am East Indian. Why do whites keep ridiculing us Indians? Should I end the friendship?

Ok my one friend(friend #1) thinks that my other friend(friend #2) wants to be BFFs with this snotty popular girl but she doesn't! So know friend #1 is really mad at friend #2! She had been looking for a job for ever and i finally got her my old job. My boss was my mentor and now that relationship is gone. She has taken over my life and it drives me crazy. She is attractive and gets treated differently so that also annoys me. She has an easy work schedule than i did, makes more mone than i was at the position. I really can't stand it. When i first started there was no training and that was really hard. I have fully trained her so she doesn't have to go through the stress i did. I don't know what to do please help!!

I recently had an argument with my friend and stopped talking to him for over 2 months, and yesterday i started talking to him again and he kept saying something which didnt make sense to me, please can you share your ideas of what this may mean:

He kept saying that "a sequence of events has already begun which is out of his control, but he is doing his best to stop it, because if it happens, i will not like it"
and then i said that i didnt want to talk to him out of anger and he replied "when the sequence of events has reached its climax, thats the last thing you would want to do"

At first, i perceived this as some kind of a threat, but he is adamant that it wasnt a threat at all, and when i asked what he meant by it, all he'd say is "forget it, just remember that it wasnt a threat" - so what on earth could he have meant?

Im freinds with a really cute little person, and she's a pretty good person, I suppose. But her boyfreind is a total *** hole, and she's insanely jealous as a girlfreind. I have a sneaking suspicion that she may talk about me to him, for whatever reason I dont know.. like I told her about my freind zach and reed who I go to see most sundays, and I was joking around with Justin about men saddling me up and using me as a donkey.... a joke! and he said "Oh, isnt that every sunday?"... that and she told him about something really stupid that I asked about him, and he never shuts up about it. I cant explain why I asked either, becuase he would get mad at my freind.

Ok, this is an honest question people! I'm 5'1" and I have a petite figure, but I have big boobs...the biggest out of all of my friends. I'm Persian, and most of my friends are Indian. When we take group pics, I sometimes feel like I look bigger than them! I hate that!!! I'm not overweight or anything. I'm not saying I look like a model, and I'm trying to lose about 5 pounds(which I go to the gym 3-4 times a week for)...but I sometimes feel bigger than the others. What the hell is up with that??? I'm kinda thinking its just because I have big boobs and most of my friends are very small. It's like when we take pics....you see (small boobs small boobs big boobs small boobs).

Everyone says to be proud of 'em and I am, but I feel so huge sometimes, compared to my friends! Especially since I'm kinda small, they stand out more.

Do any of you girls ever face this problem? Is there anything I can do? (It's not big enough to get surgery, so don't get the wrong idea).

I'm in the military. As you know, the uniform is something we wear almost every day of the week. I have a friend (female) who doesn't act and/or dress very feminine. Even when we go out as a group, she prefers to wear clothes I would wear to a baseball game. She's NOT lesbian, I just think that she feels comfortable in sporty clothes. She wants a boyfriend but can't find one dressing the way she does. How can I and our girlfriends help her without hurting her feelings?

Have you ever fancied a friend's brother? I met my friend's brother the other day and he is really lovely and we got on so well. He is married and therefore my question is NOT related to whether he likes me, whether I should pursue him or anything like that- that is not even a possibility and I would not go there.
I just found it really strange to meet a good friend's sibling having known my friend for a number of years and then find him attractive. I've been single for a while now and don't often meet people I get on with that well. Has anyone else found that and did you find it a bit weird and confusing?

One of my best friends and I are always arguing...I usually back down because i just get tired but he honestly think he knows everything and can argue anything. up is down, down is up. Many of our arguments are opinion related (why a tv show is good or bad). While its all in good fun it gets on my nerves sometimes because I can't express an opinion without him getting on my case.

I don't have very many friends. I would like to make some next semester but I need to change whatever is repelling people from me. I'm shy and my parrents say that I intimidate people because I'm too secluded. The only real reason I can think of is that I'm ugly. Good looking people always have friends, right? I have never met good looking people who are lonely. I don't realy think I'm ugly but I must be. I do not understand how people make friends. I am very akward in conversation. People have intoduced themselves to me and the other way around and then we never speak again, could this be because after talking to me they realize that I'm not cool or fun? I hear people making fun of me behind my back and even in front of my face and I don't know why. How should I change myself to make more friends next semester?

I talked with a guy several times & we hit it off over the phone so met for dinner. He had put on his profile that he was 6'4", 235lbs., football player type. When we met I didn't recognize him at first because he was nowhere near this size/height. Maybe 6'0" & 200lbs. Still in great shape so why would one lie about such a thing? I truly don't care if he was so tall or whatever but am more concerned about one's honesty. This is the biggest complaint that I hear from guys that a girl says she's 130lbs. but they show up & she's 200lbs. He also kept pointing out a woman he had met before that lied about her age & that he was concerned about what else she was lieing about so what gives with this guy?? Needless to say I was immediately uncomfortable & had an awkward feeling when I had been looking forward to meeting him??
