Tell your other friend you do not like being put in the middle of the situation. You feel that friend #2 has a right to choose who she wants to be friends with just as you and friend #1 do. Tell her you did not make the decision for friend #2 she chose to be friends with that person all on her own and that person has not hurt you so you see no reason why you should not stay friends with her just for being friends with someone who is popular. Tell friend #1 you have been friends with friend #2 for so long why should you end a friendship over that? I mean think of all the good times you had with her.

All of y'all are crazy. You can have two friends who hate each other, But that's not your problem all your concern is how you get along with the person whom is your friend. And never bring bad gossip from one to the other cause than your not really a friend yourself. In fact if your friends with two different people, who hate each other. Never bring up the subject of the other when you are with one or the other. And never take sides.

Just tell them that you want to remain friends with both of them and you don't want to be caught in the middle of their petty drama. If they are true friends, they will understand. Sounds like you guys all need to talk and figure things out.

I always find myself in the middle between two of my friends. It is a tough spot to be in I think you need to be honest with both friends and tell them they need to work things out themselves. That no matter what happens you intend to remain friends with both of them.
It takes a long time to build true friendships.Small mis- communications and mis-understandings can ruin a friendship.
Girls can be very catty and manipulative unfortunately so can women. Things don't change !!!!!!!!!!!!
You need to remain true to yourself, stay out of other peoples fights, and avoid their drama..........just be honest with both of them!!!!!!!!!!

Call them both, sit them down, and tell them to grow up. Explain the situation, get rid of all the misconceptions and confusions, and just talk about it.
