my boyfrield wants me to make some friends so i won't just sit at home and wait for him to get back (which even i know is unhealthy) i just don't know where to go to find people...i'm pretty shy but can be fun once i get to know people! the last relationship i was in was with my best friend...a girl...and we never seperated...i left her for my current boyfrield...as it turns out, i'm not gay or bi! all i need is some realistic places to find friends...not too much into the club scene and i'm not old enouogh to go to a bar...HELP! if you can think of ANY places to meet people...please let me know!! Its a lot harder to meet friends once you are out of school. The next likely place is your job. When I moved to new city for an internship I knew no one, so had to keep myself occupied and by filling my time with activities. I took a night class at the local community college, joined a girls only gym. Between that and myspace I had met a few people, who introduced me to a few more.
No one says they have to become your new best friends for life, but its nice to have someone to call up and go to the mall or just hang out with. Plus it makes your boyfriend realize you are your own person and aren't completely dependant on him.
