Friends - January 2007

There is this girl i met about 2 months ago through my other friend. We talked alot and we still talk everynight before bedtime and to this day its going well. She wants a good christian guy and im catholic, dont attend much church. Whenever we are together we have the best times in our lives! We have hung out once since we met. We are getting to know each other better and im not sure if i should tell her im starting to have feelings for her or not. She told me a story about another guy who liked her and she shot him down, and i want to be 100% honest with her at all times. What should i do? We are always talking/texting or i drive 25 minutes to hang out with her about every 3 days.

ok, so I've been talking to a boy on MSN for a couple of years now that i'd met on Habbo Hotel.
I live in Australia and he lives in London, England, and we have become close friends but, recently he told me that he had a girlfriend.
The problem is, he still flirts with me alot, and tells me he loves me which I don't think he'd do if he really had a GF.
I'm really confused and i'm not sure if he was just trying to make me jealous or was telling the truth, could someone please help?

Well since I dont have many friends, I sit alone at lunch but friday, a girl told me i could sit wit her and her friends so I did. It was so awkward and they weren't talkin 2 me cuz they dont know me which i think is explainable but I don't know if I should just go sit by them 2morrow although i think they dont like me?? she saw me 2day but she just ignored me so i need help on wat to do. well my roomie bailed on the rent and i moved back home, i went to rent.com and posted a profile about wanting to rent a room in my area, a girl contaced me needing a roomate cuz her bailed too. she seems really smart not wanting to meet at her apartment and she is interviewing others as well, she wants to meet at a public place. so im wondering what you think about moving in with somone you dont really know.

My birthday is tommorrow and I had plans. I'm going to Chuckie Cheese [its for kids] and it was going to be me, my little sister, my grandma, my friend, and my little cousion [my friends neice]. Well, I told her to start savig money up a week ago and she told me she would try. Well, my friends mom refuses to give her money for her or her neice and told her not to ask anyone for any money. She has to baby sit tommorrow and I have no idea what to do. i told her that if she did not get any money then when I came home I would do something with them that did not cost any money. Grr!! [sorry for that lol] What are some things I can do with them that does not cost hardly any money?? PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks

So yeah i found out the other day that a friend of mine used to cut. she hasnt for almost a year now but shes now told me that shes tempted to alot. I'm concerned for her and maybe its just me but isnt the fact that temptation is still there still a sorta bad thing? i dunno i guess does anyone have some advice on what i can do to calm myself/get her help/or just some plain advice...

my friend she is a very agreeable person on the surface, but she would stop talking to me if she is offended, i had to be very careful about what i say as i am a very extroverted person, i think i am sick of her behaviour, nothing ever gets resolved with her coz she doesn't want to discuss any problem, she just be quiet or avoiding me, she also backstabbed me to her boyfriend as well, how can i deal?

She calls almost every day, and monopolize's the conversation. She will not shut up, to be blunt. [: I always end up saying, after ten minutes, "Sorry, I have to go...bye.". ok, i just dyed my hair a dark brown (experementing with colour is something ive been doing for awhile) but i also love my skinny jeans and think converse sneakers and vans are comfy... and i ocasionally wear a black t-shirt or sweater. And i do wear dark brown eyeliner, but only because it brings out my eyes (silvery blue). But recently everyones been like 'oh youre so GOTH' and when i walk through the hallways everyones like 'Oh, youre the GOTH'. i dont believe in lables, nor do i think im goth (i have tons of differnt colours in my wardrobe) ive tried to ignore them but they just carry on. ive told them just to shut up, but it didnt work. i dont want to change myself for anyone, but this is really ticking me off! how do i get them to stop?

but he has a girl friend and always talks about how much he likes her when its just me and him. but when were with our friends (his girlfriend is in a different "group") hes all over all of us and i cant stand it cause i know hes just dong it cause thats how he is. i dont know. i guess i want him to know how i feel but i dont want to ruin our friend ship. advice?

I dont know. But everytime I'm with my friends I always feel inadiquate like they all get along better together than I would with any of them. I mean I think if they had to choose their best friends in order I would always come out at the end. I have friends they are just not satisfying I guess. They are all talented in a colourful way. One being into guitar, one being funny, one being a hippie, one into soccor, boxing, going to the gym, one being intelligent, one being pretend gay... If I were catagorized they would probably say boring, dull, weird, strange... I dont eeven know why they like me!

Ive known this friend quite closely for over a year. After having quite a serious argument and not talking for about 2 months, my friend and i were talking, and this is what he said to me:

He kept saying that "a sequence of events had already begun which is out of his control, but he is doing his best to stop it, because if it happens, i will not be grateful"
and then i said that i didnt want to talk to him out of anger and he replied "when the sequence of events has reached its climax, thats the last thing you would want to do"

So, what could this mean? It sounded like a threat to me, but i confronted him and he kept saying it was not a threat at all - but he hesitates to say what he meant by saying things like "forget it" or "doesnt matter".

Well..here is my story..
Im a girl in school who is friends with everyone..I gues you can say im "popualr" I shop good, I get good grades (well..hehe..) Umm, Im just a typical girl. I am also Middle Eastern. I was born in USA, but my parents are both from the middle east. I love my culture, I am muslim too. I love my religion too. Every once in a while, (every year or so) someone will say something like "What do they do in the Middle east?" "What are they hiding??" "ahhh Ghina has a bomb!" but, you know..there joking. Today, a "friend" of mine kept saying things like that, and he called me a terrorist. He made me feel bad, but I didint show it, I just told him to stop..and that it wasint funny and stuff. At the end of class he took my hand and said "you know I love you, im just kidding around" And I was like.."yeah whatever.." And he asked if I forgave him, I said yeah sure, you know whatever. But...What should I do next time this happens? Has this happend to anyone else? Help me out.

An explanation: Our friendship is mainly long-distance (talking on phone and emailing), but we were friends in college and it's only gotten stronger for the 5 years out of college. For 6 months, we haven't been on the best of terms. she feels I've been "getting mad" easily; I feel she's been too sensitive. We fought recently over it (after she refused to call for a month bc she was upset but didn't say so) , but I thought we'd made up. I agreed to watch what I was saying more carefully; she agreed not to let my temper bother her. It's been 2 months since we've "made up" and she's made little attempt, though I have, to reinstate our friendship. I emailed her that though I understood she had other priorities (she's a school music teacher, recently bought a house) that I really missed her friendship. She replied that she "wanted to devote more time to getting our friendship back on track, but she couldn't." I feel that if she really wanted to be friends, she'd try harder. You?
