You really can't. That would be like pushing them into opening up to you and adding pressure. It would seem like you only curious to why this person isn't opening up to you. Allowing someone to open up to you takes time. You have to gain their trust and build trust in them. Earn their respect and allow this person that you're there no matter what. Let them know that you're there if they ever need to talk, day or night. Sooner or later this person will open up, when they are ready to talk. Good luck!

Engage in conversation: see what are his/her interest and see if you guys have anything in common. Beign really nice to others attracts anyone from the opposite sex: guy or girl!

Just let them know that they can trust you. Also, some people just take longer to open up to someone...mostly due to something bad that happend in the past.

depending on your situation its goin to boil down to 2 things.. either quit telling them that you are gay. or for you, you may have to tie them to the bed.. They will then open up. :)
