I recently had an argument with my friend and stopped talking to him for over 2 months, and yesterday i started talking to him again and he kept saying something which didnt make sense to me, please can you share your ideas of what this may mean:

He kept saying that "a sequence of events has already begun which is out of his control, but he is doing his best to stop it, because if it happens, i will not like it"
and then i said that i didnt want to talk to him out of anger and he replied "when the sequence of events has reached its climax, thats the last thing you would want to do"

At first, i perceived this as some kind of a threat, but he is adamant that it wasnt a threat at all, and when i asked what he meant by it, all he'd say is "forget it, just remember that it wasnt a threat" - so what on earth could he have meant?

Sounds as if he a bit melodramatic! In fact sounds like Dangerous Liaisons! I would keep clear of him as its very odd thing to say!

The only thing i can think of is that he had planned on getting revenge on you somehow and now that you're friends again he's trying to stop those whom he had put up to it. I have heard of these things before, maybe he gave your number out to a bunch of guys with some sort of a message and wanted to have them call you and harass you, convinced some people to fight you or hurt you somehow or whatever. Either way this doesn't sound good and I would try to get him to admit to what he did or was planing if I were you. If you do find out that he had planned some sort of revenge on you though I suggest you drop him and find a better friend.

he could mean that if he had any dirt on you then he has let it out of the bag, or if you hurt others then he has told them an they are taking action on you however since he has warned you he obviusly done it in the heat of the minute and hasnt meant to hurt you so think seriously when it all comes to a head what way you want to move on from this i hope this helps

sounds very strange, just ask him why don't you tell me in plain english? he sounds very angry... maybe he means the argument has started & has begun a down spiral? even so he should be more forgiving towards you & tell you things nicely if he;s ur friend? it sounds like it's not ur fsult but his anger. Stand up for yourself & don't let him make you feel threatened.

More than likely he has started a rumor about you and now it is too late for him to stop the rumor and what he is saying is that when the rumor gets back to you, you will never forgive him for what he said.

Either that, or he is just plain crazy.

surely actual! (and now and back, some relatively stable Italian pasta and tomato sauce does not harm the two!) A reasuring presence, ... a mild while situations are darkish, A hand achieving out, ... Is what friendship is all approximately! (author Unknown) "Arivederche Y'all!" ... :)

I seriously have no clue what your friend said but maybe he was trying to protect you because someone is going to try to hurt your feelings or something but that's my best guess. Sorry ;(

Sounds a bit strange to me, not got a clue. You need to ask him to be more precise.
