I'm in the military. As you know, the uniform is something we wear almost every day of the week. I have a friend (female) who doesn't act and/or dress very feminine. Even when we go out as a group, she prefers to wear clothes I would wear to a baseball game. She's NOT lesbian, I just think that she feels comfortable in sporty clothes. She wants a boyfriend but can't find one dressing the way she does. How can I and our girlfriends help her without hurting her feelings?

..... well it doesnt really matter what the person is wearing, its whats underneath the clothes the dudes normally go for anyways. >-/...
Only change her somewhat if she wants you too, ask her if she wants your help. Or find someone who shares the same opinions as her.

Some girls just never learned how to be girly. If she really wants to change her ways suggest the two of you go out a get girly makeovers. If you are shopping with her and getting your hair done together its not just you trying to change her but you guys both getting gourgoeus together.

Ask her to go with you to the mall and both buy new outfits for a party. Both get Mac makeovers and ask the makeup artist to show you how she created your look. Then the two of you can practise it on each other and before you know it she is wearing makeup and a sexy dress out on the town.

Help her with her make up because she may not know how to put it on. Sometimes lip gloss will do it. A different hair cut, perfume. Manicure for the fingernails. Guys in uniform notice little things like that. Especially the perfume.

Go out shopping with her get her to try on a few feminine things. Although make sure that she likes it, don't move to quickly in trying to get her to be more feminine. Just slowly help her change and in time she will be picking out her own feminine clothes without any one needing to help her.

Leave her alone. Let her be herself. Some day she'll meet a guy who loves her just as she is.....regardless of how she looks.
Now there is a real MAN.
