Friends - January 2007

the guy i like was at a new year's party and he got drunk. he called me and asked me to meet with him. we met and he was drunk. we went inside because he needed to sit down. he vomited and at first i got scared because i've never seen somebody drunk and nor somebody puking from drinking. i stood there and waited till he finished and then i gave him a napkin. nobody was scared and somebody told me to take him outside [again] for some fresh air. so i did and we went back inside because he was cold. i took him into the bathroom and he puked again. we went ouside again and inside again. some friends finally took him into the bathroom and then he felt better [so he said], i went back to my party and wondered if i did right trying to help him or i should have left him alone? did i do something shameful sitting there, helping him? i am not his gf but i like him a lot. i don't know what he feels for me but i know he was greatful because i came... so? what's your point of view?

I am a loser, you could say. I have no friends, and most of the kids where i live have all gotten into there cliques and i dont fit. im either to dark or depressing or i am not "cool" enough. should i just stay alone and deal or keep putting myself out there?

Today is my 14th b-day, and everything is going wrong, my dad left, my mom and i got into an argument. i have been crying all day because i think i am fat!! I did get to open presents and cake, but it does not feel like my b-day, can someone please cheer me up??

My bff has been my friend for 3 years, but lately, ever since I started hanging out with other people besides her, she's been really rude and mean. She started calling me an everybody and I'm really tired of it. She says I'm like everyong else just because I like abercrombie and aeropostale. I mean, it's not my fault if I hate everything from Limited Too because it's covered in rhinestones and glitter, right?? I mean, I love her and all but she's really rude and annoying sometimes. Should I keep her?

I am 13 years old and kindof "chubbie" most of my friends are twigs and are comftorble in wearing bathing suits. I once tried a bikini but was so embarrased that I took off my shirt real fast, the jumped into the pool. Then when I got out, I ran to get my towel. I just dont feel comftorble wearing a bathingsuit. My whole family has a low metabolism, and we try and try but it doesnt seem like the fat goes away. I seem to not stay on diets or excersize plans for very long. My family made a New Years resolution to go on diets. Can anybody give me some motivation to stay on these excersize and diet plans? None of my friends have diet problems, and I will never do that either. I just want some help on what to do. HELP PLEASE!!

(samefriend as the one who's parents fight)once my friend was in a concert.she called me crying her eyes out saying that her stepdad said that if her real dad comes she cant go 2 the concert. but if her dad doesnt come then she could go 2 the concert. but she couldnt tell her dad 2 come b/c she has a lil sis and her stepdad was going 2 go watch her 2. (they live in an aptment) (super) he tells her that she has 2 sweep all the floors and then she has to mop them. then when she's done no matter what time it is she has 2 go 2 sleep. she doest have time 2 do her h/w and then when she gets in trouble in school he gets mad. (when it's his own fault). then on halloween i went 2 her house we had 2 wait until 5 so her stepdad could talk with her mom. then she asked what time she had 2 be home by and he said 6. she told her mom and she started 2 yell. (not at her)then he said "if u get back later than 6 u & ur mother have 2 leave the house. she's 2 scared 2 tell the skool. ???? =/ he threatens 2

Ok, well my friend is kinda a slob, no offence to her. But whenever she sleeps over, she ALWAYS makes a mess! I say like,"Can you please pick up after yourself?" And she'll say,"Your mom will clean it, she's the maid in this house anyways." And gosh, it pisses me off! She has NO respect WHAT-SO-EVER towards me OR my family. She's nice and all, but she's also a VERY picky person. She'll say,"Oh, I dont like this pizza just cuz its sqaure, make me something else to eat." Thats EXACTLY what she said right to my moms face one time. When I ask her not to do something, she does it anyways, and I always get into trouble for it. For an example, she once locked me out of my room and went on the web on my cell when I told her not to, because my cell phone is for emergencies only! I ALWAYS get the blame for this stuff, and I can also tell my parents are getting annoyed with her.

I know she has depression, because I've gone through it as well... well, I am still fighting.

She is in a relationship that has not been good for her. The guy is totally taking her for granted doing a lot of stuff that is tearing her down. His mom hates her and doesn't let a moment pass where she doesn't make that known.

Her family life isn't going to well either. Her sister seems to get the run of the house etc.

All she really ever wants to do is sleep, and I am seriously concerned for her. She also thinks running away from everything will make things better.


I have advised her to maybe get out of the relationship, to try and sort things out with the mother. I've told her all I know that may help, but nothing has worked.

Does anyone know anything else I can do to help?

He got huffy that I wanted to go out with friends New Years Eve. He didn't like the idea that he would come home from work to an empty house. So I stayed home alone with him and he went to bed at 8:30 since he had to get up at 3:30am to work. I woke him up a little before midnight and when midnight came he just says Happy New Year and tried to sleep again. I had to remind him to kiss me. How would you feel about that?
