do you think middle schoolers should be able to wear thongs, have a bf/gf, and make-out in front friends and in restrooms?! i think that's sick.

no to all of it except the thong thing. I believe that you need to pick your battles wisely and let pre-teens have some say over their independace. Does it really matter to anybody else if they wear a thong.....I dont think so. But it gives them a chance to assert their independance harmlessly. I mean after a while of hearing no no no it becomes brushed off as routine. If they see the logic behind the no's it will be better received.

I personally think they need better parenting if they are allowed to wear thongs that can be viewed. You can't do a lot about the making out in middle school, except ask the school to monitor the situation better.
Sexual interest is at a peak in middle school and the maturity level at that age keeps the kids from acting with any maturity that isn't enforced.

well i am a middle schooler. i see these things all the time. it is sick i say it is a definite no. I have never had a boyfriend or a kiss and wont until i am 16 people think i am wierd but at least i have my morals

This generation is horrible! I guess that is why i still look good for my age of 42! (smile) I took my time to grow up and I still look 28 to most people.;)
