Friends - January 2007

My boyfriend's sister is one of my best friends. We were friends after him and I started dating. A few days ago his sister told me that she is "seeing" one of his really good friends but the friend hasnt said anything to him. My bf is really protective over his sister and is one of those people who hates it when he is out of the loop. He would get more mad knowing that I knew the entire time than knowing from the beginning. I decided last night to tell him although he couldnt say anything which would be really hard. He was really upset and now I feel horrible for telling but yet he was my bf before she was a friend. It put me in a really bad predicament. Any thoughts??

We were as close if not closer than sisters, due to some weird circumstances I had an extra working cell phone when she had no phone at all so I gave her the phone on the condition that she pay for her use of the phone. $1000 later she never gave me any money and I took away the phone. Is it worth it to fight for the money, should I just walk away from this friend, or do I forgive and forget and keep the one person I feel truly understands me?

A great group of friends and I had a BIG fight a little under a year ago. I was really angry/hurt at the time and decided to put them on "limited profile" in facebook. It was immature, but I was just venting, I guess. It's not like I even removed them from my friend list...

They always just assumed I had gotten rid of my wall altogether. It's been months and I've had many wall postings since. We're friends now and I had completely forgotten about what I had done until they commented recently about why I "removed" my wall. I can't just remove the setting so that they can see my wall b/c they'll see all the postings I've gotten in all those months since I blocked them and figure out that I had blocked them. I don't know how to tell them without angering them/don't want to ruin a great friendship over something so stupid/infantile. HELP!!!

i just had a huge breakup with my boyfriend.im spending the night at his house tonight to try and patch up a few things.my parents have not yet aproved of this so i got a friend of mine to help me out by asking my parents if i can spend the night at her house.but im really not going to.if they say yes.cha ching!but my dad always checks up on me with a phone call.what can my friend say to cover up for me?i know this is lame but i really like this guy and wanna make this work.so any ideas?

I was dating a guy who i told my friend about she got his number from my cell and hooked up with him well why we were dating he moved to another barracks room and i hadn't been there yet well one night my friend and i went out and she took me on base to meet her new b/f well we went on base and she took to me his room his roommate answered and than he came out well we acted like we never met and it pissed my friend off she went to get beer and left us alone in the room him and i talked and he told me she said i was dating another guy and i didn't want to be with him anymore well we never got back together but we remained in contact and he left for okinawa and my friend tried to find him she even lied to me and said he got her pregnant and he had been gone for 7 months yet she was 4 months pregnant she still claims to be my friend and doesn't understand why i stay away from her i've made it clear i don't want to be around her or even talk to her trifling butt how can i make it clearer?

About 4-5 years ago i used to hang out with my best friend after school, her and i used to talk all the time during school lunch i still know her mom and her sister, although her sister is cute and i have a big crush on her and i still been trying to keep in reach although i do not know how to stay in reach with my best-friend.

Basically i am in a close group friends. I am 16 and go to an all girls high school! My friends are all so much wealthier then me and a lot more confident so they get tons more opportunities. When this happenes they are quite willing to drop me and concentrate on themselves which i am finding quite selfish!!! Recently i feel all i have been doing is listen to their tales of exotic holidays and expensive gifts from boyfriends etc. They can be quite stuck up at times so i have found myself segregated from other class mates because i am friends with them- the other week a pair of them from our group said to me that i would have more fun staying at home then meeting up with them to celebrate new years which was quite upsetting. They keep 'forgetting' to invite me to things they are doing and parties they are going to and then swear they invited me after the event- yes they may just be forgetful but we are quite a big group so it does seem malicious slightly! I dont no what i shod do! Help!

I have been dating this wonderful guy for almost a year, who I have been close friends with for about 4 years. He treats me great and my family loves him.
During our highschool years, we were both part of a close group of 4 friends. My boyfriend however, hasnt really maintained a close relationship with the other 2 girls ever since they went away to college and found boyfriends == the girls stopped putting effort into maintaining their friendship.

Slowly throughout the first year of our relationship, my relationship with my friends has degressed, and I only occasionally get together with them. They have made no effort to get to know me and my boyfriend in a relationship together, and I feel like they will never approve because now they think that I only have time for him. They talk behind my back about us, and when we hang out, they rub all of the times they share in my face.

I dont know what to do? Should I keep on trying to repair this with them, or move on?

I've been in a relationship with a great guy for about 6 months now. Recently he told me that he loves and things started getting alot more romantic than it used to be. I felt very good about that but for some odd reason I cant stop having doubts. I cant stop the confusion. I discovered that I have trust issues as I dont trust he really loves me like he says eventhough he shows it. I sometimes feel as though I love him very much and some other times I feel like I'm better off without him. I cant get myself to actually break up with him because I know he's a great guy and I'm afriad I might regret it later. How do I stay stable and in love with him all the time? How can I convince myself that he loves me and that everything is okay?!
