Thats right up my alley. Sadly, I have excuses for alot of things and I've used some on my friends(I'm not going to explain why because this isnt about me). You can say that you dont want to. You could say you're going out with your family. Your mom said someone was coming over. You dont feel good. You have a lot to do, clean your room, help your dad/mom with something, homework... whatever. I dont know what you do, or what your reasons are, and how your life is but those are things I'd possibly use.

Just pretend how sad you are for not going out with them. in this way you can give every possible excuse. I dont know your situation to help you find a good excuse but the way you express yourself is the important thing.

Be honest. If they are your friends they will understand. Be aware that if you make a bogus excuse and they know it or find out, they will be hurt. Either way, they are going to talk about you behind your back.

I don't know what your reason is, but you could tell them the truth. This is usually the best way to keep your friends, you often get caught in a lie, after a while you can get too confused trying to remember all of your lies.

It will be better off if you don't lie as it will just catch up with you sometime down the road. Just be honest and say that you don't feel like going this time. If they are real friends they'll understand and get over it.

No you don't! Just tell them the truth, whatever that is....Or tell them you're taking a "MENTAL HEALTH EVENING" and won't be able to attend.
After all, they're FRIENDS!
Relax,enjoy yourself,and remember that :
YOU DON"T ALWAYS HAVE TO DO WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU! Sometimes, "JUST SAY NO" really is the best advice!
Good Luck!

All you have to do is be honest. Tell them that you do not want to go out for dinner. If they ask you why, tell them that you just do not want to go. Be honest and up front.

Go out with your friends anyway, and cancel the "other" event instead. Always go with the person(s) who invited or asked first. You will be surprised how nice it is to simplify your life.
