Basically i am in a close group friends. I am 16 and go to an all girls high school! My friends are all so much wealthier then me and a lot more confident so they get tons more opportunities. When this happenes they are quite willing to drop me and concentrate on themselves which i am finding quite selfish!!! Recently i feel all i have been doing is listen to their tales of exotic holidays and expensive gifts from boyfriends etc. They can be quite stuck up at times so i have found myself segregated from other class mates because i am friends with them- the other week a pair of them from our group said to me that i would have more fun staying at home then meeting up with them to celebrate new years which was quite upsetting. They keep 'forgetting' to invite me to things they are doing and parties they are going to and then swear they invited me after the event- yes they may just be forgetful but we are quite a big group so it does seem malicious slightly! I dont no what i shod do! Help!

You should make friends outside of your school. I'm sorry, but if you hang out with those girls you will become just as shallow as they are. These girls obviously are judging you on your lack of wealth and you just aren't getting it. These are spoiled girls who have no clue what compassion is and you would be better off without them. The problem isn't you. The problem is that they have been brought up to believe they are better because they have money. They will learn a very valuable lesson when they have to start making the money to support their spending habits. Daddy won't always be there handing out the cash. You are the better person here because you see a problem and they don't. Thank you and GOD bless.
