I've been planning to take Lucas to my sophomore gala. Lucas was MU with one of my closest friends for 5 months. It's been 7 months since they broke up. My friend just recently got over him. I didn't know how to approach her and tell her about my plans, today she asked if i was bringing anyone. I told her i was bringing Lucas and things became so awkward and hard for us. I think she's hurt. What should I do?

I really like this guy in my school. Problem is we do not even know each other and that I really would like to get to know him more first. Another thing is i'm not a popular girl or anything. Just like anyone else in the background and i'm also afraid that people may gossip and spread untrue rumors about me and that these factors may make him hate me. I told a few of my trusted friends that i like him. I don't know why, but i notice some students of his grade keep staring/looking at me today. Could it be one of my friends? I doubt not because they are not only highly trust-worthy, but also that i warned them that i would spread their secret also, if anyone of them ever breathes a word on it first. Can you give me some possiblilities of their staring/looking?

I have a male friend that I've been into for a long time. A friend of mine had talked me into telling my friend how I feel. I'm ready to tell him but I asked a question about a picture and how it says a thousand words. This picture with the heart on it has the sayin of 'The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart'. Would yall give that to a person yall are into? I mean how would you tell somebody you felt? Cause they do say a picture says a thousand words. Do you think I'd scare him off just by giving him that?

6 months ago me and my friend had a little fight nothin big or anythin i just told her to stop putting me down and being a ***** to me.but every since then shes managed to make all my friend hate me. ive tried makeing new friends and everythin but all i want it my old ones back and not to be hated. i dont no what ive done when we used to be the best of friends for years. what can i do?

Last year at the start of highschool my bestfriend from primary school (sarah) and i had a huge fightit went for a few months & she was really immature throughout the whole fight..... & because of the fight i became really close with another girl (amy)who is now also my bestie. Sarah is so different since the fight she is alway depressed & gets upset about the stupidest things. I thought that sarah & i had worked things out but recently we went on a school excursion to wet n wild....
amy sarah & i along with some other friends of ours were hanging out together when amy & i needed 2 get somthing so we hopped out of the pool we were in & walked off 2 get it except we never came back... its not that we wanted 2 ditch them its just it felt right at the time...
well anyway it urned out for the better (for me & amy....not sarah)
& now she is really pissed at me saying that ive been leaving her out all year but its kinda her fault anyway....
what should i do

My room-mate really wants to live with me again, but I was thinking of living somewhere cheaper with another friend. He wants to pay the difference between the two rents to get me to live with him again but I think this is wrong. What do you think?

including all Xmas presents. I told a friend what had happened to me on the day of the burglary & all she did was go on about a bloke she knew and how he'd found the love of his life! She did say hope everything goes well for me. A few days later, she left me a message on my mobile to say, "I've not had one Xmas card from the temp agencies and haven't been invited to their Xmas parties". There was no mention about my suffering, she never asked anything about my burglary, how I'm managing, if I need anything etc. Because I've had so much to sort out at home, I've not had a lot of time for her, as I've had to have emergency locks put on the front door and a load other stuff to sort. Now my friend left me another message saying, "I've not heard from you for a while. If you don't want any contact anymore, let me know". The thing is, she's full of herself and I haven't had the chance to keep up the 'friendship'. What should I do with her? It's like all or nothing with her from me.

Is it true that when a guy befriends a girl, it means that he's also attracted to her? Even if nothing happens between them? Sometimes I wonder if girls and guys can JUST be friends without one or both feeling attracted to the other. Most of the guys I've been friends with I've felt attracted to, though knowing that I wouldn't want to pursue a relationship, even if I had the opportunity to.

So, what do you all think about this? Can they or can't they?

i always help them if they need my help....
i always make them laugh....
i show them that i really care for them....
im 4thyear highschool and i will graduate in march...
i have failing grades....i ask my closest friend to help me
to do my projects but he say that its my obligation....
instead of helping me he show that he dont care to me!!
i do a lot of good things to him...why he never appreciate that?? its very UNFAIR...im helping them and in just little things thay cant help me!!! and they know that i have FAILING GRADES and they dont even show that they CARE to me......It look likes THEY DONT CARE TO ME......
i cant write here what i feel and what i want to say because im not that great in english but the my point is...
why they never appreciate all the good things that i do to them??? they are so SELF CENTERED.... i hate them so much.........

I've known my bestfriend since I was 4years old. She's a year older than me but that doesnt really bother me. What does is since we were about 10yrs old her life has depended on me. She's pretty but quite DUMB. So even though she's a grade higher than I am, I do her homework. She used to get straight F's now she gets straight A's because of me.She acts just like me for example my grammer, style, and intelligence (It might sound stupid but its reality). I even help her with dating. She has a myspace and whenever a guy asks her a ? she'll call me up and ask me 2 answer it. Everything she knows comes 4rm me! There is not 1 place in her life that im not in. & i'm tired of it, I want to live my own life and stop helping her with hers. Because everything she tells people comes from me not herself.So one day when she marries im not going to be there to help her!One thing that gets me irritated is that when I talk to her now she's starting 2 sound like me and say the same things I say.Help me!

Ok so I went to the park today with my 2 and 3 year old son. They started playing with another two year old so I start chatting with his mother. She is definitley friendly asks if I live around here and she tells me where she lives. She just moved to my town in Cali from another.She said its so nice to find other kids her sons age to have him play with.She tells me before her and her son leave the park they run and asked if we wanted to join them. We do we let the kids run and play and she says we should get together at each others houses or the park to have play dates and if we all get along we could go to disney land together in the summer. Before we left I got her number.But now I'm all freaked out cause I watch shows all the time about crazy moms who befriend other moms and kidnap their kids.Am I being over paranoid.I'm hoping she didn't follow me home if she is a phsyco!!! I'm kind of freaked out. But I'm thinking it may just be how I am. I do have anxiety often

I have 2 roomates and we split the utilities evenly. We have Tivo and we seem to have an issue with the recording space. I have had many things I've recorded lately that have been stopped early because the lack of recording space. My one roomate has some items recorded which he would not like to be erased. Keep in mind they were recorded before me and the other roomate moved in. I counted the hours of recorded space then came to find that me and my other roomate have a total of 11 hours. The roomate in question has a grand total of 51 hours of recorded space. Me and the other guy feel he should pay more for the cable bill if he is going to monopolize all the recording space. What do you think?
