im 16 (male) and one of my friends he's also a dude, he told me he is going to commit sucide because he is gay, and he thanked me for being his friend. Is there anything i can do???

The first answer is spot on. You obviously care enough about your friend to ask for help, so make sure he gets the help and support he needs, immediately !!
His family, police, whoever it takes to get him the help he needs.

Don't ignore him, he is asking for your help but won't admit it. tell someone, anyone will do just make sure you take him seriously, being gay can't be that bad, there are loads of gay people he can talk to.

Get help IMMEDIATELY. I would call his parents, the police, the school counselor, the principal. I would not wait a minute, he obviously needs help right away. ACT NOW!! Take it seriously, he is reaching out for HELP!

tell an adult.Tell your friend that being gay is nothing to be ashamed of.tell him about the things he will miss out on.tell him what might do to his family.tell him that there are alot of jerks out there and there are some good people.good luck
