I really like this guy in my school. Problem is we do not even know each other and that I really would like to get to know him more first. Another thing is i'm not a popular girl or anything. Just like anyone else in the background and i'm also afraid that people may gossip and spread untrue rumors about me and that these factors may make him hate me. I told a few of my trusted friends that i like him. I don't know why, but i notice some students of his grade keep staring/looking at me today. Could it be one of my friends? I doubt not because they are not only highly trust-worthy, but also that i warned them that i would spread their secret also, if anyone of them ever breathes a word on it first. Can you give me some possiblilities of their staring/looking?

Maybe they're staring at you because you're a total social coward.
I know my advice comes from a man's perspective, but sometimes we guys are just a little dense when a honey's checking us out.
Grab the bull by the horns, and to hell with people staring. After your first kiss together (which, in my humble opinion, should be a private and tender moment), give the crowd somethin' to stare at in as public a places as you can find. Get up on a stage in the middle of a crowded mall and act like bunnies. Who cares if people stare, they're just jealous because the most exciting thing in their life is you.
You might be hot. I'll never know. But part of hotness is how you use it.

It might be hard to do but ignore the staring, it could all just be in your head and the guilt trip you are on because of how you feel. Obviously you are young and believe me, this too shall pass. Enjoy these days where these are the only problems you have, lighten up and gossip and tip for tat, never solved anything. God Bless.

maybe he thinks you are real hot and told his buddies and they just want to check you out. BUT its possible for someone to say something nasty about you. Talk to him and find out how he feels about you..then you can really determine what they are thinking. But dont worry about what ppl think because in the end its all about you. If he dont like you...move on!

Don't take this too seriously. Don't let your life be governed by speculative thoughts. Let it go. Interest will fade, unless you end up hooking up with him and you can say "Ha, Ha".
The other speculative reason is that they think you are "easy". Dismiss this easily by living your life as your conscience tells you. Screw them!

more than one possibility here...
1. do you do anything that might imply that you like him? maybe his friends caught it and are wondering if you really do like him or not.
or
2. one of your friends said something to someone else (maybe unintentionally) and it spread.
or
3. maybe he likes you so his friends are staring? could be a possibility you know...
