heres the deal. there's a girl in my history class that i went to hs with but she graduated a yr ahead of me. we were never friends but only b/c we never took the time to talk to one another. i dont even know if she knows who i am really am. i thought about going up to her after class and "introducing" myself. anyway a) should i & b) how should i?

and o btw, she's a really pretty girl, but i dont want her to get the wrong idea.

I think when I put that last sentence up there before people got the wrong message. I'm not romantically interested in her I just think it makes sense that we sorta buddy up for this class since we went to hs together. So now you can answer the question.

I have this friend that I professionally sing with. He is really nice and we are good friends. He lives 2 hrs. away and none of my other friends have ever met him. They all think he's my boyfriend and They won't listen to me when I tell them he's not. They are going to one of our shows and they are meeting him next month. I am afraid they will mess up our relationship. How do I make sure this doesn't happen?

She is estranged from her husband but, still wants to be close to his family. She worked hard cooking them a big dinner (about 8 of them). They didn't even help with the dishes, then all left to go on a daytrip the next day, meeting at her house but, she was not invited to go with them as she used to be. She would do this again. Why does she put up with this?

When my mom came to me to tell me that he died...my heart dropped because in my dream, he died of a heart attack...and in real life he died of a heart attack!

This all happened because he has unlawful detainer on his record. My mom died alittle over a yaer ago and my grandmother had in her will put that the townhouse she owned that my mother lived in would be hers when she died. So anyways my brother wouldn't pay any rent so he got evicted. Now the the problem is i live here in this apt. and he started moving in a guy friend and in the next week his new girlfriend. I told hm no when i came home from my trip and he said they would stay no matter what i had to say. My brother and his friend and girlfriend sleep all day and are up all night watching tv until six in the morning. His friend uses my computer and has brockenn it. He also doesn't have a job eats all my food. THe worst part besides keeping me up all night when i have to work the next morning is how no one picks up after themselves,its disgusting. {I don't want to make my bnrother homeless, but i reall am miserable living this way.)

Long story short...my roommate and I do not communicate anymore. We signe our lease in july, her boyfriend came to visit for a week (he's still here). He doesn't work and they eat my food. One of friends had housing issues so we agreed she could stay for a few weeks (shes still there) and now her boyfriend is always there to. The Friend's boyfriend has a dog, but he ahs to move back on campus so he has nowhere to put the dog. Recently I just came home from our winter break to find out that My official roommate and her boyfriend told our other friend that it was ok to have the dog at my apartment when previously we agreed that we would not have animals if they couldn't fit in a tank. I guess at first i wasn't really saying anything becasue I was late with my rent once and she paid it (havent paid her back for the late charges). I have tried to tell her how I feel but she got defensive and I hate to argue. What should I do.

Please be honest : Do you just click on anyone and everyone to add friends to your friends list? If so, why the hell do you do that? If you look up "friend" -- it doesn't say "a person who's picture you saw" --- is it that important to you to have a million people on your myspace? Or are you more like me and only add the people you know, care about -- and yes, also try to talk real friends into getting on myspace? I just don't understand the point.

why is that i easily cried and hurt whenever someone laugh at my dumb mistake and avoid me like I'm a disease?Also,why I can't take any rude,harsh negative comment about what people saying about me.Why is that I'm the only type of person whom people easily forgets like some of my former highschool friend?Right now,I feel so insecure,sulky,desperate,lonely as if I want to stand away from everyone else....What's so wrong about me????Is it my fault that I'm not a Whizard or genius like EInstein or my genius mates????

I currently live by myself in a not so good part of town. My apartment costs 600 a month (just rent), and its pretty small. Two of my friends (both girls my age) are getting a 2 bedroom apartment with a loft. They told me that i could pay 300 a month to live in the loft, and there moving to a very nice part of town. One of the girls is my best friend, and the other one were just normal friends, and I work with both of them. I wouldn't have to put down a deposit, or be on a lease, and I could move out anytime I wished. I am also graduating college in May, and neither of them are in school. Plus, a loft has almost no privacy, but the girls told me that I can do anything I want with it, and they will respect my privacy. Should I do it?

I'm 33 and my husband is 42. We have a group of friends that we've been freinds forever with, but in the last few years have seriously outgrown them. They are all bunch of pot heads and we are over it. I feel guilty every time they invite us to do something (always at someone's house, so they can hang out and smoke weed all night) and we have to keep coming up with new ways to say "no thanks". we wouldn't mind so much if they wanted to go out and do something, but none of them have any money, since they spend it all on weed. I'm trying hard not to judge them; I really just wish they would grow up and get their respective heads out of their respective a$$es. Anybody ever dealt with this kind of thing, and if so, how did you handle it? Also, any ideas on where to meet new friends as an adult? We have about 3 freinds that we still hang out with, but we don't have kids and we're still kinda young to be such homebodies, ya know?

i am 22 and hes 19, i recently gave him $1500 cause he needed some money, but normally i would not just give that type of cash to someone, but he had grown apart over the last year, and giving him the cash allows us to hang out more, but the reason i gave him the cash is 1. cause he needed it and asked, but also, he has tons of good looking freckles and i love freckles, and it just makes my day to hang out and look at all his wonderful freckles. im not gay, i just have a freckles fetish. my question is, does giving him the money a good reason to wanna hang out with him and look at his freckles, cause i mean he needed it and i gave it to him, im just getting an added perk. he gets the needed cash i get to look at his freckles.

When I realised this, I confronted him. However despite me asking what happened he refused to tell me. He was also leaving to another country for a year and told me that I may even think that he is leaving because of me. I was shocked and I did not know what he was saying. He said that we are very different and that I did not like a lot of things about him I told him it was alright as I stil valur him as a friend and do not want to see this go. I asked him whether there was anything I did that he is angry about but he said that he was never angry with me. He said he does ot know why he was doing this and that he needs time to reflect. When probed further he became angry and tole me not to analyse this. He also said that no girl has ever spoken to him the way I do and that friendship to him is reciprocating. Even though I was in tears he still did not tell me. Help! What is going on???

What do i do about and ugly christmas present from my boyfriends mom? she gave me this watch, and it, well, is definetly not something that i would ever wear. but.. my boyfriend said that he told her that i havent worn it yet, and that she started to cry and that she didnt feel appreciated. i mean, i dont konw if he really told her that actually - or if hes just kidding around.

but i dont know what to do, because, i dont really want to wear it. but i dont want to hurt her feelings- cause she loves me lots. n i know she meant well.
so most likely the common thing to do is wear it.. right? or should i talk to her about it? or what.. i dont know what to do....
