Please be honest : Do you just click on anyone and everyone to add friends to your friends list? If so, why the hell do you do that? If you look up "friend" -- it doesn't say "a person who's picture you saw" --- is it that important to you to have a million people on your myspace? Or are you more like me and only add the people you know, care about -- and yes, also try to talk real friends into getting on myspace? I just don't understand the point.

I do add a lot of people i don't know but I'm picky about it. I look for people who have similar interests as me. A lot of people are classmates that moved away, but I also add people from other countries because it's cool to learn about their culture and all of that. I don't agree with the people who have thousands of friends though. I can see bands and musicians and of course Tom with thousands/millions of friends but not everyday people. Some of my friends are completely against myspace, so I can't really get them to join. so I just have fun talking to people who like the same things I do.

I am only friends on Myspace with people I know in REAL LIFE. Sure, there are some who I havent seen since high school, but I actually knew them in person at one point. I think its lame to have 900 friends on Myspace- everyone who sees that knows they arent all really your friends. Half those poeple dont give a crap or care to know you. They prob only saw yur profile once and will never go back again. "Internet buddies" are so stupid- the real life people are most important.

I got a MySpace because I have friends in other states (and another country) and thought it would be easy for everybody to stay in touch. I don't add everybody who sends me a friend request and I don't go out searching for people to add. But I do have a combination of friends I already knew and online friends. MySpace allowed me to reunite with old high school and college friends. I didn't create a page to really meet new people but I am glad that I was open to it because I met somebody who eventually became my boyfriend.

My profile is set to PRIVATE. The only people on my friends list are my family members. I don't even have my friends on my list. LOL. I don't care about having 934,000 friends or whatever. Myspace is not about competition. I do see that around, people having so many friends & they don't even know all these people. I only use mine to keep in touch with family since i live far away from them.

I love myspace. I personally have like 205 friends on there, which for anyone on myspace knows thats low in comparison. I only like to add people I personally know, or knew at one time. I used to do promotions, and add just everyone I saw that lived near me on there. That was so annoying though, becuase you don't want to have to sift through useless bulletins or invites just to see what your friends are saying. People try to add me out of the blue all the time, and I tell them that I only add people I know, and they move on. I guess to each their own. Theres no point in getting irritated about it though, because it's just annoying to them to have so many friends, or they have to for promoting, etc. How about them viruses going around on there though? They make my friends post stupid ads on bulletins, and now I see my friends posting stupid ads on the comment board. They need to get a hold of that situation.

I only add people I know - or who have messeged me and seem nice. I dont add people that just send a friend request - a lot of people use 'bots' in myspace to go around adding friends to get hits on their page (advertising their band for example) so chances are if they have requested you as a friend without messaging you it was just a bot going around adding friends automatically.

I think myspace is becoming like a popularity high school thing...
I just add people, who i know and talk about, and maybe some people who's profiles get my intrest, like their about section. I'm mainly into nice type of people, that aren't mean and cool with me. so yeah.
