I have been trying to get my wife to accept my divorce position for about a month now, moved out last week and she still won't drop the whole "let's go to counselling" and "you can't leave me cause I still love you" stuff.

I do care for her, I do not hate her...i just know that we aren't right and I have said that for over a year now. She claims she didn't believe me/didn't hear me. Which honestly, only angers me. During this time, I have met someone, I have known her for a while but never contemplated being with her. My divorce is inevitable because I wanted it with or without this new person. My wife has asked me if I am seeing someone and i have lied a few times and feel awful about that but I did so because I feel for her safety (she has threatened physical abuse on herself) and for my financial security (she has threatened to never find a new place and take my car, which is in her name)...I wasn't looking, it just happened. Should I tell my wife and risk too much?

i met this guy a couple weeks ago, we talk everyday. the last time we got together we decided there were no feelings. but the next day we talked and he said him and his ex were going to florida cause she needs a driver. i got real jelouse. and he gets jelouse when i tell him i talked to other guys. i will miss him. so whats up?

Well I've been dating this guy for about a year... I really like him and I know this isn't really a big deal but I'm just curious..wouldn't u expect ur boyfriend to buy u at least a little gift for ur birthday?? His bday was before mine and I went all out to buy him really expensive gifts...( and also on other occassions)..But he's never once given me anything..I mean it's just kinda weird considering he's always getting new things for himself (i know that money is not the issue). But I'm just really confused.... =/ What do u think?

my fiancee has done the one thing that i have asked him time and time again not to do. no, it's not cheating...though the pain is the same. (i hate both the same) he's lied to me about it, his friends have snitched him out, i have busted him...it just keeps going. he's the father of my kids and i really do love him. i'm really scared that i won't ever trust him going out with his friends again. i really have not betrayed him in such a manner to deserve this. we're supposed to be getting married this year, i seem to be having doubts. due to the betrayal i've encountered. any advice to help me trust him?

Even my underwear, which is extroardinarily disgusting and irritating when I'm looking for a certain pair to find out that she has had them for a whole month, sometimes longer. She always says "I didn't know it was your underwear?" and such but that is undoubtedly a lie; she is not stupid and she knows whos underwear is and isn't hers. She also uses my computer and electronics after I've said no, or without asking... considering she's on her fifth phone in the past year and hasn't gone a year without breaking and electronic of hers to an unusable state, this really irritates me. What can I do??? By the way, she's in the eighth grade and I'm not that much older than her if that helps tell the situation.

what is it with people who think marraige is the only way to show your "true love and commitment" my parents have been together 33 years now and aren't married. Does that mean they don't really love each other and it's just another casual fling!

This is the 21st century!!!!!! 1/3 of marraiges end in divorce. Yeah that really shows dedication.
I was just reading a question about a 19yr old who wants a baby with her long term boyfriend and someone was outraged that they weren't married! Is it okay for a couple who are married but permanently argue to have a baby but not for a loving commited unmarried couple?

God, I'm sorry to ramble on but really? C'mon guys, be a little bit open-minded!

My guy was a club-going drinker who hung out with the guys and liked to have a lot of fun. We have gone through a rough patch (that is really putting it lightly) and all of a sudden he says he can't stay with me in the same house. He left 3 weeks ago and is staying with a relative, looking for an apartment. He has begun praying a lot, not hanging out with his friends at all, not drinking and doing a lot of odd things. I am pleased that he is spiritual, don't get me wrong, but he says God is telling him that he needs to focus on himself. I think he's being selfish. Cheating is not an issue - I have checked up on him frequently. His car is always there at night after work and it stays there until he goes to work the next day. I have access to phone records - no strange numbers have been called. I'm at a loss. He says he loves me and doesn't want a divorce, just time to focus on himself and see what happens. ARGH

Each year my little girl scout comes close to being the top cookie seller in her troop but falls just short of the top prize. This mainly happens as the rich parents in the troop buy hundred boxes for themselves so their daughters have high sales. This is very unfair to my daughter as I'm not going to buy hundreds of boxes.

However, this year I pulled it off. I put in a fake order for over 1,500 boxes under the name of a neighbor that I knew would decease before the arrival of the cookies. So when the prizes where handed out all I had to say was my top buyer had deceased. Through a loophole in the girl scout cookie selling manual my daughter was declared top seller. I was so proud to see my daughter take that top prize.

My wife is very angry about this as she did not know what was going out till it was over. Demands our daughter returns the top prize. There is NO WAY I'm returning this prize after all that hard work. How can I tell my wife nicely to sit back and be quiet?

I recently got married. Now it's time to change my last name; but I don't know how, or where to go, or what kind of legal documents I'd need to bring along. I need a new Social Security card and a new driver's license. Is there some kind of Social Security office, or place like that, where I can go to fill out some forms or something? I have already searched online, but found only forms to buy--'online'; which is rather difficult to do when you don't have a credit card. I live in (and was born in) Missouri, if that makes any difference. Someone, please help me, I am so lost.

Can I get arrested or fined for biking it out naked in Manhatten area in NY? My friend and I were planning this but we are terribly scared of what might happen to us with police and stuff.
