yes.. that is a form of cheating..

look at it this way, would you tell your spouse that you are going to chat rooms and going on web cams nude?

Do you think your spouse would be ok with it?

If the answer is no..then you shouldnt be doing it..

Actually I was in this position myself my views on cheating are completely different than my husbands. And they are also different than anyone elses. The reason is because we are all individuals and we are unique with our thoughts, expressions and feelings.
I told my husband what I was doing it was hard but I did it.I was honest when I told him I'm not looking for a playmate or a lover or anything like that. But that to me it was just fun to have my own way of sexual rebellion without cheating.I was lucky because he understood me and never held it against me.In fact he joined me on cam a few times:)
Listen every relationship has its boundaries that are created by both people in the relationship. If you aren't sure about where this belongs in the boundary of the relationship then ask your spouse hypotheticly what his thoughts and opinions are on the subject...
In the end whe hubby agreed that I wasn't being unfaithful to him we set boundaries. And they were; no going into private room's or chatting privately in IM's with others. These boundaries were created to prevent any temptation and to keep the trust intact. And when people would ask for pvt room or IM time I always said "No I don't do that because it's disrespectful to my husband".And again this was a boundary he&I set together...It worked for us.And eventually I outgrew my sexual rebellion.
People who tell you that they consider it cheating are expressing a narrow minded opinion in my opinion. And I say this because society can sexually repress us and can also take away from us our sexuality.People tend not to see outside the box and tend to stay in THEIR world that they have created. In some cases though people who think it's cheating are the same one's that are perving you and they're too afraid to admit it because it breaks away from what they were taught to beleive about sex and so on.

I Wish You Luck,
M.G

I think that if you can't talk about it with your spouse it's cheating. Some people have stricter boundaries than others within their relationships, but if you're can't talk with your spouse about it, it's BECAUSE you know your overstepping a line there.

Perhaps, you both may agree that it is OK, but you don't want to hear about it from the other person. Then the line is clear.

Clarify your boundaries with your partner.

Or... is it that you wouldn't respect the boundary of not doing this if that is what was asked of you?...

If that is the case, you have more serious things to consider and deal with within your relationship.

Why keep it a secret from your spouse if you don't think it's cheating? I think you've answered your own question here. Just because there's no exchange of bodily fluids does not mean you're being true to the committed relationship.

It depends on the spouse who didn't know. You set up ground rules, and those rules need to be followed at all times. If the spouse said, "No flirting with other people," well, I'd say that's flirting, wouldn't you? But if the spouse said, "Flirting is okay, but don't take it seriously," then I guess it depends on how serious it is.

Showing your nudity to someone other than your spouse, looking at someone nude other than your spouse, talking sexual topics to someone other than your spouse, and not telling your spouse about all of the above equals cheating on so many levels.

Whereas you may not be out there getting physical with someone, you are being disrespectful to your partner. It is OK to interact with other people, but to go to nude webcam chatrooms is like saying to him/her that I am not satisfied here, I need some more fun, someone else or whatever. If you are doing it, stop- its not cool...it could result into cheating!

is masturbating cheating? Cause that's what you're doing...except with your mind. We are not wired to be attracted to ONE person, we find lots of people attractive and acting on them in a surreal way (whether in your own mind or on a PC) is completely harmless.

If he finds out and gets angry with you ask him this: Do you always think of us together when you are masturbating? If he answers "yes"...he is a flat-out liar. Cyber-sex, chatting, exchanging or looking at pictures/videos is no different.

alright chick yes it is def. cheating. most woman will say that flirting is cheating and here you are showing your body to men and maybe women that you do not know. not to mention people can record what you are doing and pots it on the internet. i would think twice about what you are doing and maybe stand in your significant other shoes. how would you feel? good luck
