back in the days when segregated schools were in place, i wondered "where are the mexicans?", i learned that the light skin mexicans went to the white school, and the dark skinned mexicans went to the black school. in modern day, why are do white people and black people still fight? racism is as open as ever, when the representative from the Senate said "if you want to lower the crime rate, you should abort every black baby in the world", if that is not racist, i dont know what is. the question i want to know, is why? (im half white, half mexican, and dont feel superior OR inferior to blacks)

Why did I just give this guy a lengthy?

explanation why I couldn't date him? I see him around, he's very cute and very nice. I'm seeing someone, and when he asked me out...I could have just said, "Thanks, but I'm seeing someone"...

Instead, I told him I lost his number and that's why I was out of contact (he asked me out months before) then I decided to be upfront and I told him I was seeing someone for a while now, and yacked on about how I'm off limits and taken.

Now I feel dumb, but I'm wondering if there's anything subconcious to my reaction.

I get really tired of people making comments about how sad it must be that my child is an only child. It's not like I planned to have only one child, but that is how the good Lord planned it. I haven't been on birth control since he was two, and he is now 14. My husband and I haven't done anything medically to have more, just think if it was meant to be it would be. I just feel lucky I had one at all. How would you respond to people's comments like "why only one?" and "how sad for your child that he doesn't have a brother/sister". I don't really think it is any of their business but feel I should respond. Any suggestions? Thanks!

i really like this guy. he and i hav been friends since like september.he really trusts me. i kno this bc he even told me his real name. he also told me that only 3 ppl kno his real name and i was one of them. i used to think he liked me bc he was always touching me. as in a friendly way. my friend told me that i had to make the first move. my friends tell me that he likes me. i dont believe them bc i think im too ugly for him. but the good thing is that he doesnt like blondes. and im a brunette. hes single for the moment. what should i do??!?!?! I allowed myself to get involved with his midlife crisis and thought I was being supportive in helping him as he said he was emotionally abused in his marriage and it was ending inevitably anyhow. We have similar interests and got along quite well. But clearly he is not the one for me, should have known that at the beginning (as he is married). He should be dedicated to his wife and family now, but is now asking for an affair. I won't go there again but need to find a way that we can work together without shutting him out completely. We are "friends" and he wants me to meet his wife to talk things through and possibly be friends with her (no 3 way action, yikes!). That is so unfair to her and I would hate me if I were her. Is there anyway to recover from this mess? Should I find a new place of employment?

Why do some girls breakup with their boyfriend who felt that they were the whole world to them?

When they find another boyfriend they compare them to that special someone and realize that special someone was actually better??

I have a friend who is like that ...and is now confused. She felt insecured with that special guy and left him...That special guy of hers ...is still waiting for her. (How long i don't know). The problem is she has a boyfriend now.

Does some girls actually want to seek more to what they want...at the end it always end up with that special someone always the better one??

I have a hard time building friendships with women. I am not at all concieted...but know I am attractive. Could this be why I get nasty, roll-eyed, and uncomfortable looks from women even though I am always trying to be kind? How can I make friends when women act so freakin' competetive?
