back in the days when segregated schools were in place, i wondered "where are the mexicans?", i learned that the light skin mexicans went to the white school, and the dark skinned mexicans went to the black school. in modern day, why are do white people and black people still fight? racism is as open as ever, when the representative from the Senate said "if you want to lower the crime rate, you should abort every black baby in the world", if that is not racist, i dont know what is. the question i want to know, is why? (im half white, half mexican, and dont feel superior OR inferior to blacks)

Some people just don't like things/others that are "different" from them. Fighting seems like a form of gaining power over the other person/race. I disagree with racism but it's been how many years and it still exists. The difference between white people and black people is some genes like muscle build and hair and skin color is dependent on pigments in the body. How right is it for a person to say a certain pigment is better than another type? Not right at all.

Racism is caused by people that can't get over what happened in the past. The majority of people that are racist nowadays don't even know why they hate a certain group.....they just do.
The difference between white people and black people (or any other color out there) is SKIN. That's it! We are all the same underneath the skin......

The only difference is the color of skin.
We all have the same dreams, hurts etc.........
If people would realize that we are all alike in that repect and that we all want and need the same type of things, we could make this a better place.
Yes, there is a lot of racism in this world and it needs to stop.............
I try to treat all people as I want to be treated and the world would be a better place if we all did that.
I am glad that you don't feel inferior or superior to blacks. God bless you...

i'm irish and puerto rican and people piss me off sometimes becuase they will tell a puerto rican joke to me becuase they think its alright. racsism starts out by the parents. parents are the ones who lay down how to act. my parents told me everyone is the same and color doesn't matter. it's because people are ignorant and scared. but the truth is that no one is just white. actually there is no such thing as being white or black. everyone has ancestors who didn't come from america. the first sign of civilization was in Africa! People just need to grow up. most people who are racist are because of other people in thier life did something bad and they have to take it out on people. they hate themselves so they can't stand when other people ar more successful.

Quit thinking of differences. Learn to love one another and work together on this earth. You sound racist. And there is no superior race.

I'm not going to give a politically correct answer.
Let's use statistics. Crimes committed by Blacks are in-proportionally high. The black community frowns upon getting good grades or good jobs. They feel they are selling out or acting white. Crack industry is driven by black gangs.
Genetically, it is a level playing field. Culturally, blacks are at a disadvantage.

Attitudes are a long time in overcoming. If you've been taught racism from a young age, you really have to work to overcome it. And you can inadvertently pass on your attitudes to your children, even if you don't mean to. We just need more generations and a lot more hard work.
