I have a hard time building friendships with women. I am not at all concieted...but know I am attractive. Could this be why I get nasty, roll-eyed, and uncomfortable looks from women even though I am always trying to be kind? How can I make friends when women act so freakin' competetive?

Welcome to this part of the curriculum!! Atttractive women often find themselves in this predicament, not because they are actively unpleasant but due to a certain amount of envy engendered within folks with not as much self confidence as they ought to develop. It's not like you can turn it off when you walk into certain places,so hey, give a girl a break... And to my dismay,it isn't always women who give a fine sister a hard time just because she happens to be worth looking at upon waking up in the morning.
My sisters and I all range from being rather more attractive than average to downright smokin'. We individually came to find that we tend to do better in the friend department with guys.Less angst by far in general once whatever sexual tension if any is dissipated by dint of long and friendly association.
Don't even try making yourself less attractive in hopes that things will ease off,because this is an atttribute of you,which you are entitled to celebrate.

They are just jealous. if you try to make friends with people who are single and secure about themselves, you'll figure out that those are the best friends. don't always try to make friends with the "Bueatiful people" because most of them are insecure and put down people because they hate themselves. always make the first move. go up and compliment them and say your name. just small talk and the next week ask them if they want to go out for some coffee. by the end of the month you will have real good buddies.

I feel the same way..its hard to make female friends...I don't know why? I always got along a lot better with guys..i guess because i like them ;) and i have brothers no sisters. You can try to complment them (honest compliments) and maybe that can spark into something...like oh i like your shirt where did you get it...nordstorms...i love nordstorms..and so on and so forth.

just be nice and if it annoys u alot than tell them abt it...tell them that all ur doing is trying to be nice and show them that...they will find out they are mistaken abt what they have thought of u....or they cud still be stuck up(but at least be happy that u tried!!)

if you are attractive then they are either jealous or have no self confidence in their selves..
